  1. Wow, those rays sitting in my loft must be worth a fortune then!
  2. I knew all that carbon dust would go to his head eventually The only want to save yourself now BM is to give me your Varis bonet
  3. I used to like taking my mums old SLK out even though it was woefully underpowered (SLK200), it was nice on a sunny day
  4. Nice work Paul. Hope you taught the owner the 2BM method to keep away those swirls, although they looked quite light to me, and getting rid of the RDS looks much better
  5. Different camber settings would be my guess
  6. I was thinking that Shhh, they will never know
  7. There's some cracking products on the market just at the minute Nic
  8. That means going outside and getting sweaty
  9. Thats why you drive with the windows down for a bit first, it lets the hot air escape. Then aircon on and windows up
  10. As above we need pics really or get a pros advice. I wouldnt use anything with any real cut to start with. Ideally you'd want to use a true light abrasive with no fillers to polish it out if its not too deep (Poorboys SSR1 or SSR2 would be ideal) and then move up to more agressive if it doesnt come out, but you run the risk of wearing through the paint then
  11. Suunto make quality kit, I have some dials made by them for scuba diving
  12. Yup thats the one. Details are on the first page, inc a link to sign up with price etc.
  13. Because people are too embarressed to send it back and they wont refund the postage either which means you're not likely to get much back by way of a refund
  14. Looks like that could be fun! I see lots of broken furnature in many houses around the country though
  15. One Nissan garage certainly told me you had to. But you are correct the manual just says to remove the engine cover. In my service book it say 54k service to change plugs
  16. +1 - or get some more images knocked up so we can have them made into prints. Was thinking A1 size would be better than A3 we had done. Enjoy it while it lasts
  17. I was browsing ebay yesterday and won a pair of Sparco's (new) for £25 Their matching race suit was not such a bargin, went for quite a lot in the end
  18. +1 - you learn that lesson pretty quick around here. Still we're not as brutal as my350z!

Wow, thats cool. I like the use of the light bulbs and water bombs, but agree the paintball bit is a bit lame! Think we should book him for our next big meet, make him do it in a Zed
  20. Yes, you queue up to have a go and then off you go when you get to the front Theres only one car on each bit at one time (either the high speed bend for the morning, or one of the 2 courses in the afternoon) TBH, I dont know much about the Bridgestones, but that sounds like a tracking problem. I had my NSF tyre start doing this before I had my tyres changed for Wales and that was defiantely tracking as the other one was fine. Its also a common issues with certain Bridgestones that the tyres feather (try doing a search on here for "tyre feathering"). I didnt think that issue was sorted a long time ago though. As most people quickly learn, if you hoon around a track or airfield too quickly you will shred your tyres. What you need to do is go around near the limit but not over it. When you go over the limit and loose traction, that is when you shred the tyres. Ask Ben about his first track day at Bedford and his tyres If you control the car properly, you shouldnt get much wear. Plus we pump them up so hard, you break traction a lot early which slows the wear down.
  21. No reason you cant do two! Its only £46 Did you do this at the same place? My tyres were pretty buggered before I started and it used hardly any tread, it was very kind to them for an airfield. Also did you pump your tyres right up? This makes them less grippy which means less wear and more fun For those interested, I have provisionally booked now - put my name down but havent paid. Feel free to join me, Amanda and Ben
