  1. Yeah other memebers are fine if supervised
  2. You seem to have the same problem as me! Book it through Nissan.co.uk and they will sort it out quick smart! Also ask them about a GTR test drive I think the 370z is a bit of a grower compared to the 350z. You need to see it in real life for a decent amount of time to start to like the styling, pictures just dont do it justice. It really does start to make the 350z look a bit dated when you get up close to it properly and drive it, well especially the earlier 350z, I guess the 07+ its not so different and I wouldnt be able to justify jumping from a newer 350z to a 370z.
  3. Well this is one of the things with being underwater, Red light cannot penetrate past 5 meters, if your beyond 5 meters at depth you just see gray or blue. no filter or white ballance can adjust that (that I know of) While I agree that red does dissapear at depth, you have to go significantly deeper than 5m to lose it completely. To keep it in photos you will need to use custom white balance and preferably a flash, but even a small one can do wonders at close range, but you dont have to have one. Its amazing what can be saved if you shoot RAW and do the white balance later, amazing results can be had.
  4. Well it's my daily driver and see's a lot of traffic so on that basis I think I might stick to just a new clutch. Thanks for the advice I'd suggest you get out and try one first if you can. Plenty of members around can show you theirs I'm sure, dont write it off on my opinion. As stated above, you most likely need to replace the dual mass one anyway, so you wont save any dosh. Its personal preference
  5. I think the problem with it not coming squint from a manufacturer rely on your car being straight too. Dont think its always possible, and easily sorted by a good garage if its a bit off. What I do find shocking are the ones out there that are miles off and always require correction, thats poor
  6. I'd say make sure your stomach is empty
  7. Sorry to see this mate, hope they reimburse you. Must be gutting Exactly why mine has stayed dirty for a couple of months. Yes a couple of months! At least when I get out this weekend and clean it, I can take the dirt off nice and gently and not do it any damage. I'd much rather have layers of dirt on there than take it to any kind of carwash and let someone else inflict swirls and scratches on it.
  8. I know what you mean, does on the face of it seem stupid. However, the whole drive is 40GB (same as the GTR), but 30GB of it is for the OS and maps. Tis a bit of a token effort I agree, but I can kind of see why they have done it - cost of course! If you look at the cost of rugged traditional drives or solid state drives, it would cost a fortune to give us a decent amount of space. So as it is they go for the smallest and save a few quid - typical Nissan I'm just happy to finally see an OEM satnav from Nissan with full postcodes!
  9. I read somewhere that this has already been mentioned by Nissan and Infiniti. Infiniti will have it first up in their coupe and then the Zed will get it as a mid cycle refresh. Should release a few more horses, but not that many apparently. Think they said something about 2012 for the Infiniti and a year after that the Zed. I'll see what I can find
  10. Merged your post in here Alex, we have those pics already, but not the PH link
  11. Yes but if they caught a plain one on camera speeding, it would be pretty easy to prove it wasnt me, that was the point. I'm not going to change my wheels, remove the stickers, interior retrimming, black badges, Recaros and cleared out fog which all could be seen from a pic just to go out speeding I didnt mean so modded as is sooooo (modded lots), I meant in the way it was modded (ie bright wheels etc).
  12. Good to see someone else finds this too. I have heard it in the States that it happens on the 370z too. When we had a RR day at Surrey RR, I think they did the pulls in 3rd gear for some and the numbers didnt seem right, but they assured the members that wasnt causing it. When I had mine on a DD dyno at Eurospec, my car made spot on numbers for what I was expecting with a plenum spacer, came out at 240WHP with nice flat torque curve, so stock I guess it would have been 10 or so HP down - if mods claimed HP are to be beleived Thats surprising, i and many others find SRR to be about the most consistent and genuine RR, IE they don't tailor results to keep owners happy, i know of at least four other car clubs that only use them, plus a couple of well respected mappers. As Mark said, its down to knowing the car. Now we know you need to do a fair few pulls at WOT (5-6) before doing a final pull, we can let any dyno technician know that and they know for in future. When we were at SRR last time, I think most cars only got 3 or maybe 4 pulls. Intersting to see it can cause different results though Not at all saying SRR were at fault btw, they did everything right on the day, just shows you need more pulls.
  13. That sounds like it will be mental loud in real life!
  14. Dont think it looks any different really. I am off to WLMG in Slough tomorrow where they have a roadster which should hopefully have connect premium so I'll get some pics then - just hope it has it, will be sods law its a non nav car There is a YouTube vid of the differences in the US model if you search for it. Only thing that I think is different is they get XM stuff (weather and traffic) which we dont and we get Michillen POIs and other traffic feed.
  15. A competant garage or exhaust place will be able to fix it. Just requires the hangers to be adjusted, but they need to be good at it. Bit of a mallet or bit of heat should make it sit in place right.
  16. To be honest it depends on your intentions for the car. If you are keeping it to run it into the ground and its not a daily driver and more a fun toy, I'd say go for the lightweight flywheel. If its a daily driver (lots of traffic) and you want to sell it on easily or part ex it, I'd say stick with the dual mass as it does make it easier to deal with. I love my lightweight flywheel (Fidanza) but it can be a pain in the butt sometimes!
  17. I seem to remember him supporting/stocking them
  18. Bit of dremel action, sure it will look good, and certainly unique
  19. Not many smilies left now matey
  20. i have never heard of or seen these colours, very smart I beleive there are only 2 Interlargos Fires in the UK, a lovely colour
