  1. As above, they may not be making any more (there were only 370 of them for Europe), but there must surely be some in the dealer network, they wont have shifted what will have been about 100 cars that the UK would have had.
  2. I havent had 5 cars Nissan 370z (MY2010) Nissan 350z (MY2003) SEAT Leon FR (MY2005)
  3. When I visited some friends over xmas, in Sheffield I paid £1.34/litre Tesco 99RON round here is £1.29/litre so thats a bit easier on me wallet
  4. How old is the paint? There are various thinners/poilishes that could be used to depending on how hard set the paint is. If its fresh you could try something like Langka Blob Elimiator ( http://www.langka.com/blob-eliminator-p-31.html ), or T-Cut will do the job, just dont go too mad with it. Mask off the areas you dont want to touch to make sure it only works on the raised areas. If all else fails, just paint it again, but mask of gradually so there isnt a solid line and it blends
  5. Nice and sunny here in Slough
  6. IMO, aesthetically the 370 isn't a patch on the 350 and I'm sure many are of the same opinion ... hence the slow sales Dont think thats the reason they arent selling. The economy isnt in a good state at the mo, when 350z were selling well we were all on top of the big credit bubble I think the 350z and 370z are on par looks wise. I love the classic look of the 350z, but the 370z does make it look a bit dated now.
  7. I saw the header was missing from the theme (so the s/w told me) so assumed you were working on it
  8. FFS better not be back. I just ordered my belated xmas pressie and its meant to arrive on Thurs. Give the couriers any excuse and they wont delivery it I bet
  9. When you edit the first post it drops it back onto the moderation queue. Approved it again, so should magically reappear
  10. I've been with Admiral for the past few years, on a multicar policy atm, wasnt much more for the 370z compared to the 350z
  11. Take the back off the cubby. Take the casing off the Lilliput and bodge the screen to the cubby. Thats what I did. Mixture of screws, zipties and some closed-cell foam. Does depend a lot on what the touchscreen is like when you take off the case, but the easiest way for an OEM looking install is to remove it from its casing and mount it to the cubby.
  12. I suggest you hear a K1 in the flesh before making a decision, they really are rather load and a tad erm, unsophisticated. Just IMO, but there are better sounding exhausts out there
  13. +1 AFAIK Cobb have not and are not releaseing an AP for the 370z, so that kindof points to the fact that they will be stopping development of AP. Added to this, as Ian says, I havent heard of a UK car using it, and on the US sites, they dont state it will work on JDM or UKDM cars. UpRev have invested heavily in getting reflashes working on the 350z and the 370z and also getting it working on UK cars, so for me that is definately the way to go Abbey and RS Tuning are both forum traders and official UpRev tuners.
  14. +2. I've heard that the newest Cayman out handles older 911s. True you get the (incorrect) stigma that its a poor mans 911, but you know its better.
  15. Depends what caused the warping/distortion and whether you can prove it is a manufacturing defect or normal wear and tear. As mentioned previously, it could be down to one very hard stop (say on the motorway to a standstill) - which would be the users "fault", or if it was say the runout on the hub being out of spec - then I'd expect the dealer/Nissan to correct it. Even then they could try to say the defect is caused by the owner though
  16. Think Martin above is right
  17. +1 With the TT conversion too - 500HP+
  18. They arent comparible in the slightest IMO, completely different price brackets. I couldnt justify the money for a new Cayman S, so decided on the 370z as a much better comprimise, especially at the price. What price bracket are you actually looking at? For me, it'd be a new Cayman S out of that lot if money wasnt an issue but I'd rather have a nearly new 911 I think.
  19. Such a shame. I can see that costing a good deal to repair, making it so close to the price of a second hand one, that I just wouldnt touch it. Getting all the bits will probably be hard enough.
  20. Have you tried deleting you cookies and other temp internet files? Sometimes things just get corrupt and go wrong, clearing them down can solve it
  21. How random, I did an out and back across Snake Pass yesterday morning while up there visiting some friends. Was a bit of an early run, was ruddy foggy too! Nice bit of road though
  22. That was me We're up here for a friends wedding and the missus wanted to do some shopping. Was good to have at least one side in safe hands in the car park. As we got there after you and left before you were back thought we'd leave a spotted card and see if it was anyone on here You now have a collectors edition spotted card from my collection of old first run cards
  23. I had mini meet earlier, parked next to an Azure 350z at Meadowhall Roll on the new season though
  24. Doubt snow chains will do much on ice tbh. Best bet is to get out there with a shovel and grit and break it up enough to get where you need to. Let your tyres down quite a bit so that you have a larger contact patch (obviously keep enough in that the rims wont hit the floor!)
