Yeah, great service in there, although the old boys get a bit frightened of modern cars I think. I got them to put a Nismo exhaust on my UY zed and when the guy saw the car he asked, 'What kind of flying machine is that??'
This place is almost in walking distance of me! I had my Alfa MOT'd at the place next door recently and saw that this place had opened up. There was lots of 300zx's outside.......
I thought about getting a shed last week, a similar £700 Peugeot 106.
Insurance for the Alfa GT is £800. Admiral wanted ANOTHER £1200 to insure the 106!?!?!?!?!
So, £2k to buy and insure a car that would probably dissolve in the first rain shower......
100% correct.
No matter what you pay for a job to be done, it should be a given that that job is carried out without causing further damage to the car.
If the trader knew that damage was going to be caused by removing the spoiler then he should have automatically included the repair of said damge in his quote. Any trader worth his salt, would NOT hand a car back with damage to the car like that and then ask another £100 to repair the damage
Me and the Mrs have an Alfa GT with Admiral which cost £821 for the year. I thought about getting a Shed to nip to the shops and back if one of us was out in the car. Found a shitty 106 for £695. Phoned up admiral to get a price for adding this car to our policy. The answer?
£1251
Why is it overpriced?
Yes its a 2003 Z but you only need to see the quality of the parts used in the build to tell you its not exactly your average Z. If anyone was planning on a balls out N/A build then they can't really go wrong with this car IMO.
Have a look at how much it would cost you to get to 352bhp in N/A form
Could have picked a decent wing though
