  1. No bank should need any notice whatsoever to withdraw £7,000.......................
  2. Why not just get the cash out of your bank??????????????
  3. Do you get the stowaway in the drivers seat too?
  4. I agree. Pisses me off. I press the button as I walk away. 2 seconds later I can't remember if I actually locked it or not. I press the button again. Now I don't know if I have just locked it or now unlocked it again. Have to walk back to the car and pull the handle!! Maybe I just have dementia
  5. Bought a new E46 M3 drop top with Ac schnitzer zorst back in 03,now own a zed which again I've had from new. Still miss that M car now as it was one of the best cars I've owned. Putting to one side the technological advances made with cars since then this is my comparison( coupe) not conv. 1. Performance wise a standard Z wont keep up on track due to the power disadvantage but balance and drivability on the throttle they are on a par. 2.yes the standard brakes on the m3 are shocking! 3. Exhaust note of that strait 6 at 8000 rpm rasping away is intoxicating! 4. Interior/seating of the BM was second to none.but in the Z you feel your in a drivers car. 5. Looks are subject to taste as each car is classed as a coupe and they are both so different,( saloon based verses ,two seater) 6.If I was in the market with 6k to spend on either it's a tough call if you have no desire to modify. 7. Gonna keep my old Datsun till they put me in a box... Bought a new E46 M3 drop top with Ac schnitzer zorst back in 03,now own a zed which again I've had from new. 7. It's breaking my brain to remember the members name who owned this first!!
  8. Bare essentials?? You can't have it both ways; you said that Aston servicing would be more than £1000 per year. It's not, it's nearly half, and would probably be half again from an indy. Plus the GTR looks like it was designed with a ruler. Sure, if you want big numbers and license losing speed, I'm sure it's great. But it can't even be remotely compared to the aesthetics of an Aston or a Maserati, looking at the Maser, it just makes me yearn for one, irrespective of it's numbers and faults, I'd forgive it. I can't say I look at a GTR in the same way. I just looks and think, wow thats fast, and thats it.
  9. Seems the Aston costs a lot less than £1,000 a year to service; https://www.astonmartin.com/en/ownership/servicing#pricing And thats Dealership prices
  10. Looks like an improvement on the Nismo to me
  11. "Something else has caught my eye, so this must make way."
  12. Liam you buy her and I'll give her space Will you deal with my Wife too?????
  13. Ooooooooh nice. Like. Always wanted an Azure........ If only I had the space for it...........
  14. A 360 is newer than a 355. Which sell for more currently?
  15. Read the advert properly; "in ultra yellow 1 of only 76 UK cars" It's correct.
  16. It's £1.50 per week. Suck it tight arses!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Possibly one of the ugliest pieces of @*!# I've ever seen.
  18. Look, the Cayman S is a car I'd like to own but let's get the facts right. 2006 Basic Cayman S List price £44,250, quite a bit over £40k I'd say 2007 350Z HR List price £30,318 including full GT pack, metallic paint £450 extra. Depreciation on a basic Cayman S circa 28k and on an HR 21k. Adding loads of factory options doesn't really make much difference to the resale value of a 9-10 year old car, should make it easier to sell though. Anyway, I was only really picking up on the point someone made that a Cayman S was worth 3 times more than a DE engined Zed, probably true if you look at a 2003 DE but comparing like to like, 2007 Cayman S against 2007 HR then the poster is clearly wrong. Pete Yawn! I must have dreamt paying £36k for my UY GT4.......... The Cayman S is a better car than the 350Z.............surely that's not a surprise to anyone?? If you have £16k to spend..............you'd buy a Cayman S. If you have £9k to spend you'd buy a 350Z. I did the same when I bought my GT4 and didn't have an extra £10k for a Cayman S or similar It's a simple as that. The Zed is a great car!! I Loved both of my zeds and would buy another, BUT if the price was much higher I would never have bought one, and thats it's main plus point and always has been...
  19. A 2007 Cayman S can be had for around 16k these days, a 2007 HR around 9k. A 2007 Cayman S cost 50 grand when new, an HR cost in the region of 30 grand. While in percentage terms the Cayman has done a bit better than The Zed in actual £'s in your pocket its done a lot worse. They also cost a lot more to start with because Porsche make an average of $28k (2007 figures) on every car they sell, the highest profit margin of any car manufacturer. Pete A 2015 Cayman GTS list price is £55k but you think an S cost £50k eight years ago??? They were 45k when introduced in 2006 , but that was for the basic model which is very basic indeed. Add some of the things that you get as standard in the GT Package on the HR Zed, like electric seats, Bi-Xenon lights. rear window wiper. etc, plus metallic paint you're probably looking at an average sale price of around £50k, in fact looking at the list and eye watering price of options I'd bet that many Cayman S's actually cost their original owners 55k back in 2006/7. Pete You need to take your 350z glasses off for a few seconds a day The base price of base cars was £30k & just over £40k. Yes Porsche options are horrendous, but any worse that Birdpoo Sat Nav in the Zed for £2k, £2.5k for Nismo kit or £2k for Nismo wheels???.............easily a £36k car without trying. Anyway, even if the 2007 base cars are £7k apart now, isn't that to be expected? The Zed's main attractiveness has always been it's price/performance against more expensive cars. I actually bought my UY GT4 Zed for £36k ahead of a boxster or TT at the time, mainly because it was cheaper than the rest but almost as good; doesn't that still apply but just with different numbers now??
  20. RIP. They were out there living the dream. They were probably enjoying themselves a bit too much, but now they are dead. But they died doing what they obviously loved. When I die, I want to die doing what I love, not at my desk...........
