  1. I have mountains of work, just hiding from it on here
  2. Basically, This bint joined up here and on **REMOVED** She said that track days/ car shows etc were male dominated and inherently sexist and women draped on cars was demeaning etc. She proposed that she was going to start up a female only race acadamy and get it on Sky TV We 'advised' her that idea was also inherently sexist as she was only allowing women into her 'Race Acadamy' She said that she was doing it to empower the female masses who are so obviously supressed by the male species and that she would make it her aim to ensure that no females would be draped over car bonnets in the future. I posted this picture of her, draped over the bonnet of a car: She had a hissy fit and left. Thank god.
  3. Awaits the "I've binned my zed" thread......

    Advice please!

Take the mileage as a plus point. It's been reliable enough to be on the road for 94,000 miles Mileage isn't a problem when your paying the appropriate price, which you are
  5. The GT4 does have the MY06 engine in it............
  6. The resale market is smaller for orange/yellow cars for sure, but within that market, the people that do like orange/yellows car, like them so much that resale should never be a problem, added to the fact that there aren't many orange/yellow cars about means that they usually don't hang around. Supply and demand and all that When you sell a GM car, you are competing with about 150 other GM cars for sale. There will never be more than 2 or 3 yellow or orange cars or sale at any one time.....
  7. If it is them: a) Walk away as they are reknowned a-holes. £15k is a bit rich imo c) a) Walk away as they are reknowned a-holes.
  8. Defo go with the TO car then if it's in decent nick etc as you'll be getting virtually the same mileage but with the latest engine and Sat Nav. No brainer to me as long as the car stands up and you like it.
  9. +1 Make sure you see it in the flesh first as its not really anything like the RS/Lambo orange. Its more of a pale, pastel orange...........
  10. I even got sucked into this one for a few seconds:
  11. It's as good a deal as you could have hoped for. Unfortunately you initially did the worst thing possible though, you didn't contact them when you wanted to cancel. I see it all the time; people decide they no longer want insurances, credit agreements, contracted payments etc and just cancel the direct debit. Big no no As you've found out, most companies are amenable when you approach them
  12. The ownership is the cheap part, it's the buying it in the first place that's the hard thing!
