  1. They should be on their way to me. Now just have to get someone to paint them GM for me. (no comments about primer, Sarnie ) How easy are they to fit?
  2. All the best Mike. And many more to come.
  3. They were the solid Z badges on black background for the bonnet and boot. The seller was "coronation" and the winner's login was something like dmcc777.
  4. Just been outbid on a couple of Z badges on eBay. Any body on here win them?

    Z for rent?

Check out the TV advert for travelsupermarket.com. I think there's a yellow Z in the line of cars at Hertz rental.
  6. 52 Reg. Parked up this afternoon with lights on. Noticed it had a Nismo spoiler.
  7. around 1.00pm today, heading towards Kincardine Bridge. Anyone on here?
  8. + 1 Huh? I mean I wanted an answer to the same question. Mine's a GM too (see below )
  9. This morning, around 0815, heading west. Couldn't make out which colour - it was too dark!

    age......

I thought I might have been close to oldest, , but it appears not ( I'm 56 next month)
  12. I agree about the Megs water magnet towel. I found it hard to believe when others said that they could dry the whole car without wringing it out, but it's true! I wish I had bought one a long time ago.
  13. Well done, Douglas, and There are quite a few of us Z owners now in Central Scotland. Chris (Funkystyling), Gus and I met up in Stirling last year. Maybe when the weather improves a bit we could organise another meet.
  14. See this thread for conversion calculation. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... highlight=
  15. Never mind all that penny pinching - get a set of PIAA blades and you won't regret it. I put them on my wife's car and they are excellent - smooth, silent and smear-free. They'll be going on mine when I need to replace the existing ones.

    servicing.....

I was thinking about going back to the importer in Edinburgh or using my local independent garage. Can you recommend any in the Falkirk area - I take it you are not far from me? (I'm in Larbert)
  17. Confirmed - 20" driver's side and 18" passenger's side. I think the rear is also 18".
  18. Jamie, Your experience is very similar to my own and several others on here. My car also came with no spare key, but the importer eventually managed to get a key from Nissan UK and paid for it to be cloned/coded at a Nissan dealer. My car also had no service history, but I saw the history for another car imported at the same time, and it was totally indecipherable anyway. I had the car checked and made sure I got the BIMTA certificate. The overall condition of the car was so good that I was confident that the mileage was accurate. That was in March '06 and so far no reason to be concerned (touch wood!). Sorry can't help with the Sat-Nav, as mine did not have that option (though the previous owner had replaced the standard radio with an expensive after-market unit by Clarion, which includes a double din screen). Jim
  19. Or try online spares retailers such as - http://www.247spares.co.uk/ A Google search will throw up a few others. Another thought - there is no good reason why the JDM bearings should be different from the UK spec. This sounds like a rip-off by the stealer.
  20. Thanks Tim. Excellent service!
  21. Tim, sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I seem to remember that you also sprayed the plastic kick plates on the door sills, and I failed to find anything after a search. Am I just imagining it, or did you spray yours?
