Tbh the thought has crossed my mind, with it saying "secure"
  2. !! Think Zedrush has fairly summed it up. One thing to note if you do go for a UK car you can be pretty sure its had any niggles sorted out (such as clicky axles etc). I guess it depends on what you want to spend, as with any car as long as you check it out thoroughly it should be fine

Does the code they gave you match the one in your handbook? Should be with the car docs somewhere
  4. Ah I don't know mate, we carried on drinking. Ended up popping into Ampersand on the way home..........
  5. Anyone know if Rish has sold his yet? Liam - I'll let you know, next couple of days mate
  6. Does it sound like its coming from the rear strut cover? I know Val fixed his with a load of tape - may be worth a look at that first.
  7. No issues on mine. Defo get it fixed under warranty - shouldn't be a massive issue for em to sort that out I reckon mate.
  8. Would be surprised if the wiring is any different. Bluetooth phone adaptor wasn't standard prior to MY06 model (meaning some cars didn't have the wheel mounted controls for HU & phone), I would suspect that is why the company are showing only MY06 onwards.
  9. Yeah, I'll tell him that (once I've stopped laughing at him ), although he seems pretty clued up on what he's lost out on. It seems to me that all your really doing here, if you do avoid it in the short term, is just playing a really big game of cat & mouse. With the money available to MS (if they decided to really employ it) then ultimately you've no chance.
  10. Should be fine with that mileage, however still worth a check. You can see how much meat the pads have left just by looking at the pad, you don't even need to take the wheel off.
  11. Has happend to me too, but usually fixed when switching off bluetooth on the phone. Keep an eye on it, if it keeps doing it could be a fault with the bluetooth phone system.
  12. Clearly not - he got busted by the Xbox police over the weekend, he's not a happy camper.
  13. No idea on Endless afraid mate, but (and this is only what I've read) the EBCs are pretty similar performance wise to the Ferrodos. How long is a piece of string? Theres so many variables involved, eg where do you drive (in town you'll use the brakes a lot more than on the motorway), do you generally brake quite hard etc etc. To give you some indication my OEMs lasted just over 34k.
  14. What is it they say about a little knowledge being a dangerous thing Careful mate.
  15. I'd say thats a fair assumption Trev. Put it into context guys - that 1/4 time is as quick as a 750cc bike & some 1000cc
  16. Was following redzed for nearly all afternoon on the last Wales trip and it just made me think - "I want a red one" !!!!!
  17. Ha ha, kept realising I hadn't put bits in - massive lack of sleep last night. No worries mate, next time you're making em
  18. Mornin fellas! I'll just chip my 2p worth in now but not much more to say really that hasn't already been said - top, top night. Beavis real shame you couldn't make it at the last minute, likewise Sarnie & Sinbad. Would have been good to have you there guys, not to worry - we'll just have to do it again soon. I don't have very much recollection of the night at all really, other than not getting in towards the end. That, I believe, was probably down to the state we were in - we were all well leathered by that time, I don't think I would have let us in either. Limiter - you're the most slurry drunk I've ever heard. Nonetheless give me a shout nearer the weekend, I may be around if something I've got planned in falls through - which I think it may do. Nice one Mike for sorting the meal & general planning/organising a bunch of very pi***d 3yr olds all night (and yes I am also including you in that statement). Oh and - you try mine, I'll try yours Liam - the best house guest in the world, very quiet. Although I bet it wasn't at hers But nice one guys to all of you - great laughs
  19. Just had a set of redstuffs from CS too guys - fantastic service! Didn't get the cash over to him until around 2.30/3pm on Thursday (right before the bank holiday btw) and the delivery man was knocking on my door around 9am the next morning Great price, great service - you can't ask for anything more than that No reviews of the pads yet though - too early. Only got about 80 or so miles on them so far, feeling decent but I can't wait to stand on them
  20. 10cm!! That would be bliss - i've got literally around 1-2cm by the mirrors!!! Thanks for the words guys, I'm really mad at myself. May think about having a word with the company but I don't know if I can be bothered. Seems like a lot of hard work. Will give Chipsaway or someone a bell next week. Cheers guys
  21. Good news - I'm an idiot (this will come as no surprise to some of you) , a very p****d off one too. I've managed to scrape my wheelarch this morning coming out of my garage . I can't bear to look closely and see how bad it is but from an initial look its through to metal in places but some of it may polish out. Its right at the bottom edge of the wheelarch. Couple of questions: (1) Is this the sort of thing Dentec/Chipsaway can sort and any idea how good a blend they may be able to get? I'm guessing as its at the edge of the panel it should be a bit easier??? (2) I accept that this is my own stupid fault, HOWEVER what are your thoughts on this: I live in a flat with a garage which is at ground level under the building. Theres not supposed to be any parking outside the building. 3 vans were parked across mine and the other garages. I thought I could squeeze out - I couldn't. So my question is - do you reckon its worth complaining to the company based on the fact that they shouldn't have been parked there? Like I said, i accept this is due to my own stupidity and impatience but a couple of people have said to me that they'd write to the company to complain. What do you reckon? To say I'm grumpy today is very much an understatement.
  22. Don't be expecting the Toyos to last long either mate
  23. And a pencil eraser (and no, I don't normally call them that) for the residue - works pretty well. Just get a decent one though.
  24. Decent fitted price that Kenny i reckon
