  1. I drove an egear at Prestwold Hall and they reckoned that the clutch lasted 3000 miles. But bear in mind thats total track driving, therefore I reckon if you get a decent one it should last your ownership.
  2. I had a quote from Autoglass for a genuine Nissan screen @ £900+. I went to a place in Bolton - Bolton Safety Glass, fantastic service and covered under my policy (max of £350) with direct billing to the insurer. I've had 2 from them now and although not Nissan screens are to exactly the same standards with the same tint. No problems whatsoever with them. If you're anywhere near Bolton mate I'd really, really recommend them, top blokes too
  3. I think Sarnie had some discs ages ago mate, but he may be able to point you in the right direction
  4. Your other option is Mintex Extreme, I was considering these before I got the reds. very, very happy with them and I certainly haven't found a downside yet, although I've only done about 400 miles on em.

    Which Supercar?

If it was me, I had to say Ferrari without a doubt. However, I'd want a 430 or 599 now which are both out of the price range. So in that case I'd have a Aston Vantage. Been lucky enough to drive the Aston & the Gallardo, but for me it'd be the Bond feeling all the way
  6. Happy Birthday mate. lomoto - belated wishes to you too.

  8. +1, big difference. If I buy another Z I'll get rid of the oem before she's got 100 miles on.
  9. hope to see you sticking around tho fella
  10. +1 2 hours labour at £30ph. Least you know for next time though.
  11. Week or so ago I got some EBC redstuff pads fitted front & back. They're now bedded in after a couple of hundred miles of feeling like I was driving miss daisy and first thoughts are what a difference! Pedal feel is much better, very little travel before they start biting. I was a little worried that there wouldn't be too much effect from cold but absolutely no problem at all, still plenty of pulling up power. The car seems to squirm less under heavy braking now too and obviously pulls up a lot quicker than before. This certainly isn't perceived either, my daily drive home from work involves a stretch off the motorway ending in a big left hander before coming onto a large A road. I hit it every day at the same speed in the same gear and my approach was always the same - 2 big dabs of brakes and down a gear. With the reds on I've found that I only now need 1 hit on the brakes and don't have to hold them as long. I always thought the oems were ok and did a reasonable job but these are awesome Many thanks again to CS for supplying at a great price and top service too
  12. Not long bedded in my new EBC reds, much different feel to the standards and far better, totally recommend em. Delivered next day from CS (on here) for £100 all in.

    350z Wheels?

    Or PM Liam's Z
  16. Other than the above notes, get rid of the 1 bottle mate, ie use a separate wash and a separate wax. A combined wash & wax is nowhere near as good imo. Also use 2 buckets - 1 to rinse your wash mitt in before you put it into the soapy stuff. Finally, get rid of the chamois and get a Megs water magnet. I'm guessing you're using the wash mitt so you don't get surface stuff over your paint rather than using a sponge. A chamois does the same thing a sponge does, ie keeps it on the surface of the chamois which means it goes all back over your paint and can cause swirl marks & fine scratches.
  17. I can vouch for it mate. BUT that was only after he took out everything possible and then some.
  18. Depends what you want to spend really
