  1. Only just logged on Tim, first time in a few days. My thoughts are very much with you & your family mate, I'm so sorry to hear your news. If you ever need a bit of space or just a few pints there's always a place to crash at mine.
  2. You have PM from earlier this afternoon Val
  3. Zedrush, you're without a doubt a touch cluck cluck jibber jibber
  4. Congrats Jim Good luck with the sale too

Agreed with Mike & Jacko, paying MUCH more than you Jay - 31, 8yrs NCD, no points/convictions, no mods, car garaged @ work & home. Postcodes mate, that's the biggest thing - I got a quote on the Z with my Mum & Dad's postcode just out of interest, it was a 1/3 of the price I'm paying
  7. No worries dude Cool pics btw
  8. Bad Blood - Neil Sedaka in US & Hold Me Close - David Essex in UK. Relight My Fire by Take That on my 18th!
  9. I think it would be interesting and useful if users here could post up, I'm thinking it could be affecting cars manufactured around the same time, ie a faulty batch of components. Mine is an 54 plate with just over 37k and uses next to no oil between services. I have prob around 200ml left from the oil supplied by me at service and that's all I need to top up with.
  10. Qute unusual to see so much carried over from a concept, glad they did tho Agree on those door handles...
  11. You're not there this Tuesday by any chance are you Stuey? Just I'm prob going down to watch a few mates that are on then.
  12. I'm fairly certain that they don't need to remove the dash, they do remove the screen surrounding plastics on the interior but not the dash. It may be that a clip on one of these has snapped and hasn't been replaced and is sounding like its coming from the dash.
  13. Good luck to you mate, I'd say that if you're at the stage where you feel a change is necessary then it's got to be the right decision. You don't want to be looking back in 20yrs and thinking "what if?". I went self employed over 3yrs ago now and although it was in the same industry it was without a doubt the best move I've ever made. Ok at first (and certainly still now) it is far tougher than being a wage slave however it's far more rewarding and enjoyable I'm sure you'll end up feeling the same from studying for your MBA as it sounds like that's what you want to do.
  14. Saw it on Saturday and was absolutely buzzing what a top film! Awesome action scenes, amazing cgi, funny ah it's just got everything!
  15. I'll more than likely swing over for this and I'll keep ya company Digs (remind me nearer the time though cos I'll forget!). Don't need any stand space though - car isn't in any fit state to go on a club stand!!!
  16. Sorry Sinbad should also have said that it will get bigger - if it is anything like mine were you'll physically see it spreading the quicker you drive, very unnerving on the motorway. I went from Manchester to Leeds and back and in that time the crack grew by over 3 inches (we measured it before & after). So, I'd say get it done sooner rather than later mate, in the meantime try not to drive unless you have to. Ring your insurance company first, although they will probably have a preferred contractor (my insurers tried to put me onto Autoglass), however if you tell them you want to have it done by your own people they won't have a problem with it - they can't force you to use a certain company. They may tell you that you will have to pay for it and then send in the invoice (thats what mine said) but speak to BSG and they'll more than likely have direct billing anyway so that will go out the window.
  17. ....from ages ago, it gave a site where you could see all sorts on your car. So you could change the colour, put other wheels on etc etc etc. I remember it being really impressive but I can't for the life of me find it in the searches. Come on those of you with a good memory!! TIA
  18. If its that size mate it's non-repairable regardless of what anyone tells you. New screen for you. I've had a couple now, same thing as yours, go to the guys in Bolton, they'll well look after you - tell them I gave you the number, just say Andy with the blue Z. They've also recently done my missus' Beetle. Bolton Saftey Glass 01204 393260. Top guys and they'll have it done for you in a couple of hours. Give me a shout (PM me if you haven't got the number and I'll give it you) and I'll take you for a brew or a pint while you're waiting - I work in Bolton My policy covers me for a £350 with a £60 excess, I've only ever had to pay the excess. Plus they have direct billing with most insurers.
  19. There is a definite difference between 95 & higher RON ratings, at least that's what I've found. I've been running mine for most of its life on Amsoil 5W 30 from oilman on here. Great stuff, certainly recommend it
  20. I'm sorry I'm confused here, I thought PLG was private light goods????? I thought all cars were PLG class.
