Nice one guys, had an absolutely awesome day!!! Was great, as ever, to meet up with you all. Nice to see the sun coming out too especially after the start of the day! Great pics I'll get mine on over the next couple of days - depending on how sinbad has done with them in his role as photographer Funny seeing him hanging out the window trying to get a shot of the photo shy little miss. Stuey's & lomoto's exhausts - everytime they put their foot down me & sinbad were had big stupid grins, great sounds boys Charlie - there's no redeye in that photo so its fair game! Don't let em just turn em and grease em. Thats what was done to mine and its just started clicking again, literally in the last week, after 20k+ miles with no problem. Unfortunately for Nissan it has happened again right before warranty runs out, only a month to go too. I've little doubt that the temp fix by Nissan is purely to see them through till cars are out of the warranty period, a nice cheap fix for them.

Stuey seems your questions have been answered apart from your PS2 one, so here goes: Yes and no. To expand a bit for you, the PS3 on a reasonably recent download got the ability to upscale normal DVDs to HD (although not full HD) quality. Afaik it also does this for PS2 games - HOWEVER don't think the PS3 will play all your old PS2 games. I thought it would, but turns out no for the UK machine. There are certain games it is back compatable with but not that many I don't think. Stick to proper PS3 games - they're much better anyway. I bored myself stupid with really looking into HD in a lot of detail at the beginning of the year when I was sorting a new TV and I also have a PS3 so if you want any more info mate (although I'm by no means professing to be techy or have all the answers) just PM me and I'll help you as best I can.

I'm commenting without reading the bbc link tbh I'm pretty sure I've heard it all before. I'm a mortgage broker and if more of these clowns are taken out of the industry I'm in favour - it gives us all a bad name. There is a big market for self certification loans, where you don't have to prove your income, and it is certainly right for a lot of people - it can be difficult for the self employed for example to either be able to prove their income or prove it to a level that the lender needs. Bear in mind that if you're self employed you're income isn't always fairly reflected by your accounts. As far as commissions go they are payable on completion of the mortgage, ie once the lender has completed all their checks and has released the money. There is a hell of a lot of background checks that are done now - it doesn't just stop at credit scoring. The finance industry has very sophisticated systems in place to ensure that they are not being taken for a ride. That said it does obviously happen. With tighter regulation which is happening all the time within my industry it is becoming harder to be a broker - and I think that is a good thing.

That's one of the biggest fob offs I've ever heard - certainly not normal. Are your dealer insinuating that Nissan are supplying cars (or clutches in this case) which aren't fit for purpose? What a load of tosh - "oh yeah its a heavy car", yeah pull the other one.

Me too mate, I've been following F1 for as long as I can remember - Ferrari have had it their own way for too long and have realised that they can't build a reliable winning car on their own at the moment without (most notably imo) Ross Brawn. If you're in that position what are your options? Simple isn't it, lose or cheat.

In answer to your 2nd question I would say that depends on whether Ferrari are having their asses spanked or not at the time championship wise It does smack very much of sour grapes to me. If racing you'll do whatever you can to win - I know what I'd do if I was losing and found that someone else had my info, especially if I had an endless supply of cash to grease the wheels too. Usually I'm not against Ferrari, far from it, however there is a lot more to this than meets the eye I'm sure.

Am I missing something here? Wasn't this Ferrari dossier handed over reasonably recently, ie within the last 6 months. If thats the case surely there wouldn't have been enough time to include elements of the Ferrari design into the McLaren car? In F1 a 100th of a second can win a race and equally all parts of the car are there to do a very specific job in conjunction with other parts of the car. If these cars are designed and built from the ground up by each manufacturer then surely by including any element from another team into your car this could potentially upset the balance of your car. Without huge amounts of development and testing I can't see how they could have used the information. The 2008 car, now that could be a different story. For what it's worth I'm very happy that Hamilton & Alonso haven't been docked points but I do think the sentencing of McLaren overly harsh - given the facts presented so far anyway.

I always use Premier Park @ Manchester airport, its onsite and there has NEVER been any additional mileage on any car I've parked there (including the Z) or dings/marks/scratches etc. Its onsite but a little bit away from the terminals but there are free shuttle buses running around every 10mins or so. I normally just put it into google but iirc it may be holiday extras that I normally end up booking through.
