  1. Great outcome for both of you and good to see the car not having to be stripped back to standard for a change. Keyser - I bet you can't you can't stop these Steady Zeddy But at least you are both
  2. Nice one John
  3. Thread split. Camera van issue here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=49980
  4. I wonder how many more of us will be getting a letter soon. I wasn't with the main convoy and the mods/admin will have looked after you I was going to the lunch stop to take pictures of you guys arriving so i was by myself. Yes, the phone did get busy around that time - thanks Dave & Neil
  5. This will help with your pics viewtopic.php?f=7&t=25963&hilit=uploading+to+photobucket
  6. Happy birthdays all you younguns
  7. +1, but having had both the 276 and 296 engined 350's I would say in standard form the torque characteristics of the 276 engine is better suited to the ZED for everyday road use.
  8. I have no intention of fitting excess baggage so this may be an option. Can you be more precise? Where is this counterweight please? Search is your friend - always try the guides or the advanced search and the answer will normally be there viewtopic.php?f=35&t=9903&hilit=counterweight
  9. Great pics John And thanks for keeping the Waterlooo car park free

Do you have a rear spoiler? If you look at what ZMANALEX uses, (and it wouldn't be for show) that tells you one is necessary and not just the lip spoiler size as on the coupe. Remember the problems they had with the early TT's, so the rear spolier is what I would look ar first
  11. So, value for money the 370 wins by a mile
  12. Thread now locked as car sold
  13. Contemplating now then
  14. Bit concerned about that first non-payer on the list
  15. If you resize in P/B they go distorted - so must be the size you are using when downloading from the camera, I guess Shame really
  16. Some great pics and scenery there, and some of the roads look an interesting drive Thanks for posting
  17. Welcome and hope you enjoyed your first meet in the roadster at the weekend Sorry if the drives got a bit slow in places for you - these other inconsiderate people who choose to use the roads at the same time as us should be
  18. Fuel damper came to mind but see this thread when it was finally diagnosed as the dual mass flywheel: (terribleone's last post on that page ) viewtopic.php?f=10&t=37826&hilit=fuel+damper&start=15
  19. That was your 4th post repeating the offer. Pleae remember all posts on For Sale threads have to be approved by a moderator and we are not always around to respond immediately to new posts - so be patient
  20. Certainly try the clay - I used it recently on the wheels to help remove some stubborn tar spots, but use a good polish afterwoods and then 2 or 3 coats of rim wax - that will help to clear the brake dust etc in the future
  21. Go on ..... blame me,I can take it. But we were lucky, today was 3 or 4 times worse. As it goes, I didnt think it was as bad as it could have been - far from it - seen a lot worse up in them hills. At least we had some sun We have certainly had a lot worse - this weekend was your typical Welsh weather for the area - ask ChrisS
  22. A few more pics: The Friday SE convoy meeting point and usual suspects Meet at the M6toll services, and the WAGS Saturday drive Two best pics Liam Saturday brunch stop at Country Cooks Sunday Lunch stop at the Waterloo Hotel
  23. A big thank you for all those who were able to turn up to make the work that went into making weekend a great one Shame the weather was not as kind as last year (we were spoilt) but with a few 'extras' added this year including the best ZED (well deserved AK350Z) and the raffle prizes - far too many to list but once Bruce has done the necessary with the thousands of pics I expect he took we can hopefully show who won what I felt Moreton did us proud with the BBQ on the Saturday evening and similarly the Waterloo with the Sunday carvery as well as allowing exclusive use of their car park and letting us stay on to draw the raffle with no hassle. Both venues couldn't have been been more helpful I am also grateful to the forum picking up the £500 bill for the BBQ, but offset by the £337 raised on the raffle led by Bob the Builder, aka Shire. That amount was a brilliant outcome given how everyone who came along had to dig deep simply to attend the weekend and take part in the 130 and 160 mile drives And this year, splitting the cars into groups certainly helped to keep everyone on route and things on time. So thanks to Darren-B & Chris`I and ChrisS for their sterling work, and even Chesterfield who saw the late munchers safely back to Moreton on the Saturday. The dent man was a huge success and seemed to do a roaring trade, just a shame clb did not turn up this year for reasons unknown - the only one real disappointment of the weekend. But I really must reserve my biggest appreciation to those 3 who really helped make the weekend such a success. Lord Beavis of Wales with his experience and ability top cut to the chase when it matters, and who gave us another great drive on the Sunday as well as helping to gather in the donations for the prizes. ChrisS who not only helped Dave and me with the recces and sorting out a whole host of things both before the weekend and during it - helping out Lincolnbaggie and glrnet for example and I lost count the number of times you went to and from home to get things as well as ferrying Bruce the photographer around. (Not fogetting Chris's son Liam who rode lookout with me on the Saturday and general gofer ) Bruce, although not owning a ZED seems to share the passion, making the long trip to take photos over the weekend for us which I am really looking forward to seeing And to the many others who chipped in with help, advice and support to make it a very memorable weekend - thank you. See you next year?
  24. See you there guys - safe driving
  25. Your car is looking very indeed (boot not quite shut though?) Is that other one a flat or metallic white? The pearlescent in the Storm White does remove som the reflective quality but I must admit it is a whole lot easier to keep looking clean than my previous Ebisu 350, and doesn't show swirls.
