1. A few more pics: The Friday SE convoy meeting point and usual suspects Meet at the M6toll services, and the WAGS Saturday drive Two best pics Liam Saturday brunch stop at Country Cooks Sunday Lunch stop at the Waterloo Hotel
2. A big thank you for all those who were able to turn up to make the work that went into making weekend a great one Shame the weather was not as kind as last year (we were spoilt) but with a few 'extras' added this year including the best ZED (well deserved AK350Z) and the raffle prizes - far too many to list but once Bruce has done the necessary with the thousands of pics I expect he took we can hopefully show who won what I felt Moreton did us proud with the BBQ on the Saturday evening and similarly the Waterloo with the Sunday carvery as well as allowing exclusive use of their car park and letting us stay on to draw the raffle with no hassle. Both venues couldn't have been been more helpful I am also grateful to the forum picking up the £500 bill for the BBQ, but offset by the £337 raised on the raffle led by Bob the Builder, aka Shire. That amount was a brilliant outcome given how everyone who came along had to dig deep simply to attend the weekend and take part in the 130 and 160 mile drives And this year, splitting the cars into groups certainly helped to keep everyone on route and things on time. So thanks to Darren-B & Chris`I and ChrisS for their sterling work, and even Chesterfield who saw the late munchers safely back to Moreton on the Saturday. The dent man was a huge success and seemed to do a roaring trade, just a shame clb did not turn up this year for reasons unknown - the only one real disappointment of the weekend. But I really must reserve my biggest appreciation to those 3 who really helped make the weekend such a success. Lord Beavis of Wales with his experience and ability top cut to the chase when it matters, and who gave us another great drive on the Sunday as well as helping to gather in the donations for the prizes. ChrisS who not only helped Dave and me with the recces and sorting out a whole host of things both before the weekend and during it - helping out Lincolnbaggie and glrnet for example and I lost count the number of times you went to and from home to get things as well as ferrying Bruce the photographer around. (Not fogetting Chris's son Liam who rode lookout with me on the Saturday and general gofer ) Bruce, although not owning a ZED seems to share the passion, making the long trip to take photos over the weekend for us which I am really looking forward to seeing And to the many others who chipped in with help, advice and support to make it a very memorable weekend - thank you. See you next year?
3. Your car is looking very indeed (boot not quite shut though?) Is that other one a flat or metallic white? The pearlescent in the Storm White does remove som the reflective quality but I must admit it is a whole lot easier to keep looking clean than my previous Ebisu 350, and doesn't show swirls.
4. Very nearly, but one subtle difference -the front wheels are on lock this year
5. Agreed, but he does post a good smilie or two
6. Very pleased Thanks mpkayeuk for your work to get these done - supurb quality
7. Bit of time today with kind weather to throw a bucket of water over the 370 before the trip to Wales tomorrow And hey - white can reflect
8. Can I ask everyone coming in a ZED that once they have booked in to find me around Moreton to collect some stuff and simply so we know you have arrived and help us make a prompt start on the drives. A simple but important thing we and the comeptition judges will need to know whose car belongs to who so please collect your identity cards for inside the windscreen: Really hope everyone has a great weekend and if you have any queries please do not hesitate to ask Thanks
9. FINAL ENTRY LIST
10. I have it good authority the stock 370 is quite capable taking 500 bhp with twin turbos -quite common across the pond I gather. Now Nissan doing that - no chance
11. Many of us have had family issues and everyone is personal, but all I can say from what I have seen that you have posted since you have been a member on here, is that if I were your Dad I would be very proud of where you have got to in your career and positives like that and what the future holds are things to celebrate and look forward to, rather than falling back on the past that can't be changed.
12. This year we have had received a number of donations from traders that we will be using as prizes for what are considered to be the best turned out ZEDs prior to the Saturday BBQ, so all your hard cleaning and prep work on the Saturday afternoon could be rewarded with some very useful items for your pride and joy. Full details will be revealed on the Saturday. In addition, we have a mulitude of goodies including Zed and car-related items, various bottles of alcohol, again some being donations from traders and others being donations from members as you may seen in the raffle thread viewtopic.php?f=90&t=49462 So look out for the raffle-book 'girls' coming round to take your - hard-earned off you that will in turn help to fund the running of the forum. The raffle prizes will be drawn at the end of the Sunday carvery
13. Go faster stripes just a shame the Nismo version is not coming over this side of the pond. And I agree, its a sports car for Gods sake so why not use some decent colours. And no mention of its achilles heel - the poor sounding standard exhaust. Certainly not for me at £35k
14. Just been advised Fakeindian has to drop out as the garage says his car will not be ready until next week. Who is going to look afte the Dawg who will be the room by himself then

18. I had similar issues Neil and had to clear cookies and in the process of repeated attempts, to clear the problem misunderstood the 'Preserve Favourites website data' requirement and ticked it That said, I have uninstalled I9 as I didn't like the favourites task bar appearance, found it no faster and I kept getting reminders from Dell that my licence did not cover I9. So back on I8
19. More like a 'leaf-it-out' than the one I saw in a Nissan showroom a few weeks back
