  1. Nice pics and info Tim, didn't know you had dabbled in this motorsport
  2. No canons
  3. Although 2 posts short of the 100 normally required, your ad and post history fully justify the approval in this case
  4. You should give it a flash over here : viewtopic.php?f=62&t=64832
  5. Thread locked as car sold
  6. No problem... The Strut Brace lights are an Askari special.... Have a look around the forum for username:Huskie, Comapny:Askari and lighting... Husky is the username see his build thread: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=30597&hilit=husky
  7. Would look awesome on your machine wasso This is what I'm thinking, but the fabrication costs could be quite heavy. One for the Zed Shed me thinks
  8. You really need something like this Ian - light and see-through With a bit of "pristine detailing" signwriting what better advert could you have
  9. Looking at this: http://www.nismo.co.jp/en/products/comp ... ngine.html and when Nissan and Nismo were good buddies back in 2006 before divorce (but recently re-married), I presume this was the HR concept being developed in the real world?
  10. Again, to help your understanding of reported issues similar to yours see this one and in particular the posts by "presience" viewtopic.php?f=10&t=11785&hilit=tappets&start=0 Sadly, and like so many, this thread ends without feedback as to what was finally found/done to resolve the issue. But one thing in your thread that caught my attention when it said the trader had suggested he was going to give it service and given what is said on that link it may be worth finding out what oil the trader used in your car Although its not my part of the world we do get good reports on here about Lockwood and Greenwood that seem to be nearish to you (via the AA?) for a reliable check. http://lockwoodandgreenwood.net/
  11. To help your understanding:
  12. That's the street legal version, so it has a bored and stroked 3.8l DE-based engine producing around 350bhp. They also made a track only 380RS-C with around 400bhp. They only made 300 of them, so pretty damn rare. Kind of anoying that Nissan could clearly get 350bhp out of the DE engine without making it un-steetable and yet the DE-engined regular Zeds had to make do with a whopping 74bhp less than that because of the stupid Japanese 276bhp gentlemen's agreement. Just think what a different class the car could have been in *sigh* DB That is a HR engine that we know is good for well over 500bhp even in standard guise.
  13. Looks a bit sad on what seem like 17" rims and driver's mirror hanging off but at least he still got the fishing rod in place
  14. Thread locked as items sold
  15. Many happy returns Mark
  16. You should have a red-cross at the end of each post, alternatively you can edit each post, let me know if you don't have that please. Unfortunately we have a little gremlin in the system where some who joined at a certain time are needing posts cleared before you see actually them - I'll see if Admin can rectify your case.
  17. Sat-nav/connect premium is an option for the mainstream 370's, so maybe best to get a one without to do a different audio install , but I have yet to see one
  18. Thread heading price changed to reflect the new price
  19. Tankaction You need to wait for your posts to be approved before starting again as your are repeating yourself You can delete those of your own that are not needed now
  20. 100% with this info - walk away
  21. Hugh ******? I have plenty of reciepts of when he did own it username is ATTAK Z on here does look like his old car - but he had a personalised numberplate
  22. I got told off last night for spending time with her car instead of her! So you got a good spanking, eh Very thorough job done there - looks supurb and like others says the Swift Sports are great little cars.
  23. +1 ^^ what Bock says. Until the car is warmed up or in slow moving traffic a gentle two-stage 1st to 2nd shift through neutral works fine and is kinder to the synchros. Once fully warm the box comes into its own and fast changes work fine. As I was told by someone involved in the original development of the ZED for the UK the box is 'agricultural' compared to say something like a Porsche, but it has great overall strength and you rarely hear of a box going bang even with big number FI conversions. With the 370 the synchro-rev has really overcome all the gear change issues in the 350 and is no doubt going to help the lonevity of the synchros, even on the up changes it blips the throttle if the revs have died, say in slow moving traffic
