  1. If you mount it in the bottom of the double DIN it will come out and still leave cubby access.
  2. http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alpine-iva-d106r.html Probably the closest, just need the Navi input.... Might be able to display the iPhone nav on the screen....
  3. Put £300 on your budget then!! Might not be a 'good brand'.....
  4. Depends on the price difference of getting something built in or getting a mounting for your phone in the car... Will investigate something......
  5. Can you download it to your phone or similar? The unit above would do all you want except the Nav.
  6. This for example...... http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alpine-ixa-w407bt.html
  7. Anything Alpine would be my recommendation. But it is unlikely to have all that and be new....
  8. How much of your budget is to be spent on cables, sound proofing and install materials? What Ikarus says is pretty much the rest of it. Would like to hear your car as mine is a JL SQ set-up as well....
  9. The Lexus aerial is the only one that actually fits properly IIRC.
  10. Update - FWIW, Saturdays tend to be busier from the point of view of the show lasting the whole day and probably more people attending. On Sunday it can be a bit half hearted as people are hungover from the night before (camping) and then it winds up early as people start to leave...... As I say, I'll be there on the Saturday, not available on the Sunday unfortunately. 1. Shire (sunday) 2. H5 (Saturday) 3. Chesterfield 4. Chris`I (not sure which day or maybe both) 5. Nurrish (sunday) 6. Madmarky 7. Yokomo 8. Scott (sunday) 9. Bladesgrant (Sunday) Anymore? We will be needing to close entries for this soon......
  11. Like the look of that gear knob, goes well I think. So how much real world performance gain have you got from the tune?

    No 350Z for me

I found the Porsches I have driven to be pretty emotionless BUT hugely capable in the corners. The Cayman S is a beautifully balanced car in the turns, so much so it almost justifies it's silly price tag - a shame the engine doesn't back it up (that the 911 exists, one of the two!). So girly in so much as the chassis could take twice the power but that's it - still take a drive to get the most out of it in the corners. Driven a couple of Ferraris and they take some getting used to. But they do hit all the buttons - sounds, power and dreamy handling. Needs some all round talent to get the most out of one IMO. But each to their own - they're all a damn site better than the 318d's and Vectras a lot of people have to put up with.
  13. Exactly, so mapped to 97 or higher it could be belting out a reasonable bit more!
  14. How much effort was that to do??

Sounds lovely!! My mother in law has a Boxster.
  16. Just don't lose or break them! Fairly easy, just do that bit slowly and carefully
  17. Yet to find a car magazine that does seem to run properly and actually communicate with the contributors!
  18. Come on people, lets kick the first show of the season off with a few more at ISTS! I will be looking to close entries next weekend so I can get the tickets ordered. Just need to sort out what day(s) we attend. I'll be there Saturday but not on the Sunday myself, so please update which day you'll be there. Cheers
  19. Welcome back! If you're going for drifting you can pick up some cheaper JDM's now allowing the difference to go on that FI kit.....
  20. And that's just on the poverty 91 octane stuff they call fuel in the States!
  21. Welcome to the club Sounds like you have a Zed that has a couple of the known warranty issues raising their head. The left channel cutting out and skipping is a known fault. Look out for replacements that come up on here or take a look at the repair discount we have with Clarion (they actually make the BOSE). The clicking rear axle can also be fixed relatively easily, can be done as part of the next service.
  22. No cars on the drive, assume the Zed is locked away.
