  1. Not sure how to link to them, but those with iTunes, go and search for:- VOD Cars, and then download episode numbers 147 and 151. 147 is a fully video of the GTR and some Nurburgring footage. 152 has Romanian Street racing (v funny) and an American supercharged Zed......
  2. If you want to do this in April...... And get so many people together....... To do a video....... Why not do it at Donny....... So many people have put their names down for this but not for one big club event. Come on guys!
  3. speaking from experience are we? Mine are still intact thanks!
  4. Rotary's are notorious for leaving swirls, hence UDM's and PC's.... I would first try a polish, then try a clay bar, then try the Farcela. Each time you are using something slightly more abrasive, and there is no point jumping to the most abrasive if you don't have to. Anything abrasive put on something rotating hundreds of times a minute needs practice, hence my Volvo as a donor vehicle!!
  5. The advert is good, but Honda have just raised the bar again with their puzzle one..... Brilliant!
  6. I recognise that plenum!! Both looking great, can tell the difference with the suspension change.
  7. +1 +2 +3 +4 - go for a diffuser or similar.

    Ruined alloys

Standard wheels are no better. I have barely used the car over the winter and my replacement Rays that were put on last October already look like they've been to hell and back....
  9. H5 I wish you'd clean my car, I'm good but nowhere near as fanatical as you Claybar OCD lol I just try and understand what all these products claim to do and what they actually do. Spending time on Detailing World and seeing it work for yourself soon helps. Am happy to have a go though! And agreed with what Rob said. Hold u 2 that :-) As long as you produce the avatar girl for entertainment you have a deal!
  10. Which is kinda the way I am going, but essentially rebuilding the middle of the interior of the car....

  12. If the car is being clayed for the first time, take your time, use plenty of lubricant and rinse each panel after claying. Pulling grit out of the body work will result in some of the smaller particles drying on the car again and you will not have fully removed the offending little bits of cr@p. If you do use soapy water (I would wholeheartedly recommend you do not do this) then definitely rinse it well and often. The one thing to remember to do after polishing the car, is to put some sort of sealant on the car. By claying the car you are removing particles ingrained in the protective surface of the car. By polishing, you are still removing a barrier from the car. Something like Chemical Guys Jetseal 109 or Auto Glym Ultra Gloss Protection will put back the protection on the car. Then apply the wax. Wax will not last for as long as a sealant. Enjoy the claying, you won't believe how much comes off the car!
  13. Same here, but then I want it all on show when I want to show it. So it is going to be a whole interior out and rebuild job....
  14. Sorry to hear that Stuey. Condolences to you and your family.
  15. Looks great. Nicely done. Am hoping my build won't reduce the boot space at all.....
  16. Just pinged an email off to my mate to see what time he's been thinking of heading up. I have proposed a time of being there as 7:30pm (we'll leave home about 7pm). Sound good people? Are we just going to meet there or convoy in? 7.30 should be fine, I can do either but can always join a convoy if there are a few of us.
  17. There isn't any damage as such, it is just that the door has sagged slightly. It drops a bit less than 1cm when it is opened and so clunks loudly when closed. I`ll give it another try with the dealers rather than on the phone to Nissan. The guy also argued for a while that bluetooth wasn't covered by the warranty as it was an aftermarket fitment until I finally got it through to him that it was the phone system itself that was the problem. He still wasn't sure that the phone system was covered so I explained that a system with buttons built into the steering wheel was NOT aftermarket ! The people some dealers employ really are complete spacktards. As for the door dropping, see if the dealer will at least adjust it back for you FoC...
  18. We can get track time, yep. People putting their name onto the amended list means they are committing to going to the event. I will ask for monies to be sent to me when the list grows........ Come on people, a nice spring time trip to a racing circuit to show off the cars we all love. Lets get as many as we can there. It makes no difference if your car is modified or not, it is a car club. If it helps, we can just do one day of the event (at the same cost) but if it gets more people along then we can do that.
  19. Hi, yea I should be able to make it as its not too far from me. What time are you heading down roughly as I wil be coming from Tilehurst. That is to be confirmed, take a look at the Reading 2008 thread as it will be decided there.
