I'm gonna weigh my standard one later, it felt heavier than 4kg. Although Jay could use his at 4kg as a bench press weight......

Side by side they are very different. Was just looking at the bolts and welds etc. I can see the design is different, and if the quality is anything like my Summit I can definitely recommend it! Did you buy yours just to bling up the engine compartment H5? The decision was lead with wanting something to look nicer, and then the decision was made to go with the Summit because of the quality and the fact it is quite a bit lighter than the standard one. Surprisingly so actually.... But the orange mounts and shiny stuff definitely helped as well! Cusco/Summit lighter than OE?! That is surprising as I thought that you might as well stick an RSJ in whilst your about it looking at those bad boys!! The only way I can describe it is the OE one feels like the mounts are secured to the bar itself with solid brass!! But definitely lighter and easy to fit. Just check what size your mounting bolts are as Nissan used two different sizes as Phil and I found out....

  6. Yep, they mount with a couple of screws on the inside. Mine are in the garage waiting to be done. We are still waiting for Beavis to do his fitting guide.....
  7. 4-6 hours is a run to the shops in the south.....

Now I wonder if that comes out of the same factory as the Summit one?!

    My Nismo Azure

    Great quality pics.
  11. I hurt my head doing that, and now have two big lines down my rear window from shoe scuffs...... Result: car looks better the right way up so don't think I need these!

    tyre tests

Bear in mind that with all the salt that has been put down until we have any significant rain you are driving on a film of muck. This time of year isn't the best to be doing any weaving or anything like that......!
  13. Now your starting to understand my point What point? Because you have never wanted to show your car in this way doesn't mean it can't happen.
  14. Would be good Chris. TBH, it is just a 350Z stand, if there are banners available then great, it makes the place look more organised. But with Phil and OC members does anyone have objections if there is more than one banner........? I have put this forward to anyone that has listened as a 350Z pitch - nothing more. If people want to put their banners to it then great if it promotes their cause.
  15. I was going to get everyone's names and details onto one list and submit it Chris? As for one day payment, single day entry does NOT get the car into the show from the information I have received, you still have to pay the full £30 per car regardless of whether you are there one or two days.
  16. List update 1. H5 2. Shire 3. Martinmac 4. Smoky 5. Bigphil 6. Chilli Red (Sun) 7. 3FIDDYZ 8. Magenta (Sat) 9. Chesterfield (with banner!)

  18. Yep, but this doesn't have the luxury of a forum wide e-mail being sent. There are a few others interested so lets see how it goes. I'll be there for a central place to meet anyway.
  19. Only got your best interests at heart Tim. Take a look on Detailing World at the huge number of over done efforts with rotaries..... But with nothing abrasive you will be fine.
  20. Steady on! Anyone got any pics of these things?
