    Show wheels

www.performancealloys.com Put the car details in and select 20" wheels and take a look at the Lenso Titan Black. Any good?
  2. So how does the computer know which door you will choose? It doesn't matter, it will put the same number behind whatever door you choose. They are just trying to add to the game. Just like the second step, it does nothing.
  3. The colour and house that each number has is mutually exclusive, so by telling the computer what colour it is, and then what house, there is only one number. To prove it, go to the house page and write down all the numbers in anyone house. Go back to the colour screen, and you will see every number will have a different colour.
  4. Is that a real road name?? Sounds like a nasty dose of something!!
  5. Last week was my birthday and I didn't feel very well waking up on that morning. I went downstairs for breakfast hoping my wife would be pleasant and say, "Happy Birthday!" and possibly have a small present for me. As it turned out, she barely said good morning, let alone" Happy Birthday." I thought... Well, that's marriage for you, but the kids.... They will remember. My kids came bounding down stairs to breakfast and didn't say a word. So when I left for the office, I felt pretty low and somewhat despondent. As I walked into my office, my secretary Jane said, "Good Morning Boss, and by the way Happy Birthday ! " It felt a little better that at least someone had remembered. I worked until one o'clock, when Jane knocked on my door and said, "You know, It's such a beautiful day outside, and it is your Birthday, what do you say we go out to lunch, just you and me." I said, "Thanks, Jane, that's the greatest thing I've heard all day. Let's go!" We went to lunch. But we didn't go where we normally would go. She chose instead a quiet bistro with a private table. We had two martinis each and I enjoyed the meal tremendously. On the way back to the office, Jane said, "You know, It's such a beautiful day... We don't need to go straight back to the office, Do We?" I responded, "I guess not. What do you have in mind ?" She said, "Let's drop by my apartment; it's just around the corner." After arriving at her apartment, Jane turned to me and said, "Boss, if you don't mind, I'm going to step into the bedroom for just a moment. I'll be right back." "Ok." I nervously replied. She went into the bedroom and, after a couple of minutes, she came out carrying a huge birthday cake... Followed by my wife, my kids, and dozens of my friends and co-workers, all singing "Happy Birthday". And I just sat there... On the couch... Naked.
  6. Cue Zedrush to ask if he can turbo it......!!
  7. It is a clicking noise normally when pulling away. You will probably need the window down to spot it. As for the rattling, sometimes stones can get caught in the heatshield by the brakes, check that out first. If it is still doing it, then get the dealer out in the car when you are driving it and get it logged on the service report. Selling? Why, if you know about the current car? An extended warranty can be bought from Nissan for piece of mind (£900 for another two years) and you will certainly pay more than that for a 'newer' car that you will know nothing about.
  8. Hmm will get someone else to do this for me any offers lol I'll come and give your car some beans! lol sweet, got 100 shot of nos to, sure you can handle it? 'Insert some cool Fast and the Furious quote' No worries!

    CF damage

Ouch. The weave itself has been damaged and any repair (that is anywhere near cost effective) will leave an obvious look under the lacquer. Would get onto the courier and make use of that insurance.
  10. And I thought I'd seen L88 UST on an earlier one too. Might've been someone from NMGB on a weekend jaunt!

  12. Hi and welcome to the site. 1. Squeaking suspension? There is a rear axle that can click and is a warranty fix (on the 03-06 MY cars, not sure if it has happened yet on a MY 07 yet). Other than that there is a joint that can dry out that can be sorted with no real cost by keeping it lubricated. 2. Um, no one has done that AFAIK. Most people prefer the original bonnet, so haven't done that mod. That said, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't fit. I would get someone with a MY 07 to put pics of their bonnet up to see if the fittings and latch are the same first off. And get and drive one, then you'll want one!
  13. You are bedding the brake pads into the set-up (caliper and disc). Phil has a method that I think you'll find in the guides section. EDIT: - here you go. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11193
  14. How would you bed them in before them being on your car?? A special machine called a bedding machine which beds them... which Big Phil has.... I just made that up to save myself some dignity The way I understand it the bedding in will be specific to the arrangement on your car. There is probably minute differences in alignment etc between your car and anyone elses so I think you might have to have the pleasure when you have them fitted.

    CF damage

Similar to what Zedrush said, if it has damaged the weave then there will always be some sort of correction visible. I would go down the route of compensation for a new bonnet.....
  17. Isn't that the reg that Nissan own for their photo cars?
  18. If it is just t a replacement filter element for the standard airbox, don't expect noise or performance gains. People have tested their cars before and after with induction kits on and the results don't show much if any gain. And certainly not with a change of filter in the standard housing.
  19. Another vote for the Redstuff here.

    short shifter

It feels like something catches on the right of gate, not always but certainly when cold. As for turning my hand 180 degrees, I'm not sure I can do that without some pain! Not quite sure what you mean.... I was assuming you shift with your hand on the left side of the shifter (most do), so it's about 180 clockwise so your hand is now on the right side (or right side of center), thumb facing down. This forces the shifter to ride the guide plate down to the gate. If your hand is on the left side of the shifter you're almost guaranteed to hit right of the gate, particularly if you're getting a little spirited (basic ergonometrics) because you will naturally pull the shifter more toward the 4th gear gate. Less shift force almost always gets you cleaner shifts. Winter time before everything has had a chance to warm up, yeah, the tranny will be a little notchy, but everything should fall into place in a mile or so. Ah, I getchya! However, I have my hand on the top of the gear stick, which is why when you said turn my hand 180 degrees I thought you wanted me to sit on the passenger side dashboard!! I have just started pushing it to the left side of the gate a little more firmly now, so thanks for the help.
