  1. I don't think there's anything wrong with Halfords trolley jacks or Ikea furniture Phil! Useful info, thanks.

    NISMO S-Tune

Will post up the prices tommorow when I am back in the shop No worries (part timer ) - am thinking the lip, with these skirts and possbily the wing...
  3. That is thoroughly disappointing...... And the one posted by TDi didn't even look as good as the original pics so I'm not seeing anything to justify the £££ at the moment.

Should've known really! The skirts looked slightly different to the V1 (?) NISMO kit to me..... Oh well, so what's the damage on one the components of the kit Phil?

http://www.nissan.com.au/insideNissan/c ... nismoZ.asp Thoughts? Is this kit available here? Are the rear spats the same as a UK NISMO?
  6. I also depends what gear you're using when doing 40, how much stop start you do, engine temperature and so on. As for the 95 RON vs 97 RON, I have always found my cars go further on the better fuel so it works out the same if not better as a cost per mile. Lotus, Zed, Focus and Volvo all testament to that so it's not just a fluke.
  7. And the other site doesn't seem to want me to register..... Anyway, who knows what the show will be like if it is new. It might be alright!
  8. I fear you could still get stung for a replacement ring mate......
  9. I know that you can get a few double din headunits...... http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/double-din-c-796.html But not many keep anything like the original look...

It feels like something catches on the right of gate, not always but certainly when cold. As for turning my hand 180 degrees, I'm not sure I can do that without some pain! Not quite sure what you mean....
  11. I understand the concept of climate control - but there is a definate change when the car is stationary (to cold air) and when it is in motion (hot air) Wasn't taking the p, just checking. That does sound bizarre, have you got the window open while driving? Other than that, I am stumped.

    Vertigo!

Feck that for a game of soldiers!!
  13. It is climate control so it will try and keep the cabin a constant temperature and blast air at different temperatures to keep it that way. I would be more worried about letting Kosovans clean your car!!
  14. I got some of it, it was all about them applying interest on the account and saying that I was still due to pay it, and then transferring my account as they sold their credit card business etc etc. Am sure you will be much better off with the experience than I was. It has become a daily occurrence now for them, this was a couple of years ago.....
  15. Where are you located Mike? If anywhere near the north, Big Phil can sort you out.... Clutch seems reasonable on the face of it to me. Rear pads can be changed in about 40 minutes on your own, about £100 for a full set for EBC Redstuff from Phil. Rear tyres I would agree with a change. Falken or Toyos (I have the latter on all my cars). Not sure about the roll bar linkages, but doesn't seem too steep. HTH
  16. I got done and it took my bank 15 months to sort it all out... Managed to get across Spain and France on it. And I was in Greece! Glad you got it sorted though.
  17. How much does the Tein kit lower it Andy?
  18. For those that are bothered, there is the site map. I don't want mine 'easily' known for a whole host of reasons.

Having both in the house, I would say that they are very different, both good but both have a tricky gear. Generally I would say that 1st to 2nd in the Zed can be iffy, and in the Elise reverse always needs care. The Zed does have a longer throw, but it certainly isn't stiff. The Elise box is good but it doesn't show the Zed one up. I would possibly get the Zed checked.
  20. I think they may have moved a bit further down the A40..... Not sure though.
