    Trouble is like all Diesels mine included all the torque comes in one big lump, when you get it right but when you are off the turbo and nothing happens Not mine! Slightly off the wall suggestions but how about a Alfas - Brera or GT?

    Got a similar issue with Mrs Digsy at the moment. I'm prepared to buy her a better car but she doesn't like anything I suggest and wants one of those cutesy Fiat 500 things. Rather less practical than a 4x4 which is giving me a headache...

    R32 for me - better value secondhand than GTis and lovely sounding V6/exhaust combo.

    They had that for ages at the original silly price. Personally, I think you still paid over the odds but if it truly is mint then it may well be worth it. I wouldn't worry about the price now you've done the deal and just get on with enjoying a fantastic motor.
