I've become quite an MX5 fan in the last 12 months. Love the old Mk1s but tinworm can be a problem. Any rust on this one?

I can see both sides here. If I had advertised an item and someone called dibs but I had to go and take photos, upload them, post them etc. and maybe he still wouldn't go ahead or someone just offered me money, I would be tempted to take the easy route. A requirement for pics would prevent this in future cases.

I think they would undoubtedly make a difference - even the 4x4s have been struggling in this weather because of the poor performance of the summer tyres they're fitted with - and if you are adamant you don't want to run a sh1tter through the winter months I think it would be a sensible way to go. You'd need a tyre not just focussed on snow and one you knew would give a good performance in the cold wet conditions that we're more used to here. You can't cheat the laws of physics though and personally I run a cheap 4x4 and leave the RWD coupe alone in this weather.

I've seen the prices go up and hold for a bit but the ones that got carried away seem to be sticking around. I'm still seeing the same cars advertised that were there in September. The only ones shifting are the cheaper end. To the OP I'd say not to get hung up on the sticker price, have cash ready and don't be afraid to go in low.

This is a non-starter. If your sister is really intending to do this I hope someone calls the RSPCA.

In absolutely standard trim and it was first registered in December 2006. Some dealers who I contacted were struggling to offer £12k on a similar s/h buy to the 370 that I have bought Probably more to do with how keen they were to shift that particular 370.
