Its actually surprising from a quick look in the back of TG mag that pretty much all competitors have better MPG than the Zed - some markedly so like the Z4 3.0 Coupe. Also odd how you would dismiss an extra 2-3 mpg so readily when you are defending those who adapt there driving style to probably gain little more. The Zed is a fat car with a big, not overly efficient engine. It will never be an economical car even amongst its peers and once I start coasting I'll know I really can't afford to keep it.

Sounds like he's bought a shell (possibly for rallying), some bits and built a Cossie. Why you would then store it for years is beyond me, unless you were in prison of course. Have you seen the door card in the final photo? Maybe its only got 9 miles on it because it doesn't work...

I wouldn't lower it more. Not only does it look perfect as it is but IIRC lowering too much can cause all sorts of problems with camber etc. Make sure you've done your research if you do go ahead. I would suggest trawling the US forums as there are more slammed cars than in the UK.

Damn - thats what i was planning to do - N12MO A is the plate, and i wanted the A on the line below... I dont see how this is illegal... It'll look crap as - N12 MOA or N12MOA On the front i've got a UK spec plate so that'll be alright as N12MO A ...i might not bother now then... Your front plate would be illegal anyway.

Not really my style of wheels but I actually think they look pretty damned good on a black zed - very gangsta! Remind what the sizes and offsets were? Looks like you're lowered too - how much?
