  1. Starting in San Francisco then on to Vegas and finishing in LA.
  2. I like G35's but prefer the Zed. I also post a bit on my350z.com I'll be in California the end of the month..
  3. Hi Mate, Welcome to a UK Zed site. I take it your an owner then. Tell us more.
  4. Thanks Mate.. Yes I have a desire to get muddy with it.. Must admit, watching Hamster on Top Gear did start me thinking. BTW I don't know how but I managed to come 4th on that day and that picture was also featured in Land Rover Owner Magazine. For the Northern Off Road Club, Click http://www.norc.co.uk/ Some good pictures in the gallery.
  5. Some of you will know that I used to race Land Rovers a few years ago, so was interested to see Tomcats featured on Top Gear at the weekend. This was Hamster in Iceland racing a Kayak. I used to own one for a few years and competed in the Northern Off Road Club and did a couple of British Opens. Great fun, but hard work. I now prefer trackdays as being something less competitive and less mud. Here's me at Matt Lee's Superspecial, (figure of 8 track). At the time this was the only track in the uk, as all other CompetitiVe Safari Racing is stages like rallying. At the time I was running a 4.6 litre V8 producing about 300 bhp and oodles of torque. Click http://www.tomcatmotorsport.co.uk/gallery.htm for more images from the Tomcat Website
  6. The GT4 at the moment doesn't seem to be commanding much of a premium over the GT model. I would price it maybe a little higher than a GT4 and see how you go. It's more likely to appeal to the enthuiast so why not advertise here and Pistonheads.com and similar. Good luck and sorry to see you having to sell. I'm the reverse at the moment, stuck working in London so not using the dam thing.
  7. Yes, basically how quick can you get up the hill. Cars are in groups, dependant on mods, engine, type etc. Record for the climb is 23.77s and we saw a 29s run which was impressive.
  8. What a great day. Nice to see some old firends and new. We were also blessed with some decent weather. For me this was a first time to a Hill Climb and I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks Tim for suggesting it. Some interesting cars in the car park. The Zeds also got a lot of attention. In the public area http://forums.DELETED.com/index.php?showtopic=4314&st=0&gopid=42237&

Nice. Look very similar to Volk Progressive Spoke.
  10. Kids probably. I've just bought one of these. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8064559386&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 After everyone telling I needed onefor the past 12 months.
  11. Looking good. Looks like the weather held out for you. Been raining on and off all day here.
  12. Good luck Stephen. Love to come but could you find anywhere further south in the UK....
  13. Sorry me busy next weekend. What's this Stephen G show then?
  14. This is tomorrow guys. Let me know if anyone is coming. Theres about 5 cars coming from the other website. We are meeting at 10:30am J1 M42.
  15. My car attracts flies even when it's not moving. Thinks it's the colour.
  16. Now I'm tempted.. Can I ask how much they were and where from. Also, is there any noticeable performance improvement.
  17. Hi, My views 1. Better than most Jap cars, I had an Impreza (2001 bug eye), before and it's miles better, particularly interior. Pretty well engineered but it isn't a Beamer. Had one of those too, (1999 325i). 2. 9,000 miles / 1 Year and cheaper than most cars in this performance / price bracket. Dealers are crap though. 3. Looks OK. Compare it with Autotrader etc. Don't forget the 06 model is just about shipping so this may push prices a bit further. 4. I would say so. I had my Impreza for 18months. Had the Zed for a year nearly and no plans to sell at the moment. I come from Nottingham and live in Derbyshire now. I think you wil find they are rare all over the UK. Enjoy your test drive. You will probably then be hooked. Cheers K
  18. I use Silkolene Pro S in my Cossie and will be using this in the Zed at it's first service. I was recommended this by an Subabru Specialist when I had my Impreza and they use it for the Group N Rally Car. Like Motul it's a fully esther based synthetic. I'm told some fully synthetics aren't. I'm no expert but it works on my Cossie and that puts out many more bhp than the Zed and runs much hotter.
  19. The Axis are pretty light then. My works weigh 26.5 lbs front and 28 lbs rear. This is actually what they weigh and not a manufacturers figure. Mine are 19x9 and 19x10.5. It says SF challenges which are a good datum, weigh 27 lbs and 28 lbs.
  20. Sounds a bit ominous !! Thanks for the advice guys. I'll have a go at hammering the clutch (i'm probably just being a bit weak ) Short of that I'll probably go and visit my local nissan dealer !!! Cheers Your Nissan dealer are unlikely to be able to fix it. They might help with diagnosing the problem. If it is something internal to the gearbox, you are probably better at a Gearbox specialist.
