  1. I might try and make this if that's OK. Cheserfield - We could drive up together as live so close to you mate.. Just check on whether I'm going snowboarding with my daughter...
  2. I think you would be fine. 95 is one of the lower of the db limits. Donington are very strict and have a 98db drive by limit. I always get black flagged in the Cossie there, but this car is loud and I mean LOUD!!!

  4. Very very nice... 360 looks enormous in comparison..
  5. I can't remember TBH. I use Motul stuff from Demon Tweeks. It's a high quality and reasonably priced. I'd have to check on the bottle which is at home. 300 deg C rings a bell. Why not check on the Demon Tweek website. Do a few comparison. The AP fluid is top notch stuff but costs a bomb. They have a website as well. I think it's www.apracing.co.uk
  6. On fluid, pick one with a very high boiling point. DOT 4 is already a high spec but some are have a relatively low bioling point.
  7. Dorian, Will check this out later when I have more time. First reaction though is DS3000's are very very aggressive. They are really for track cars. I was told you can eat a set of disks in 2 track days. I've done about 3 in mine and they are still OK though. I was told DS2500's were the best bet. I tried DS2000's once, (I ordered DS2500's and got these without knowing). I destroyed them on the first track day. Cheers K
  8. I use to think the 2 clubs should merge but recent events have changed my mind big time. I won't go into the details. Basically have a choice is surely a good thing. Do we want a monopoly situation, I don't think so. I'm with you Glynn and thanks Chris for providing this website. Keep up the good work.
  9. Not sure about Halfords, but I would go Ferrodo DS2500's. I run the DS3000's in the Cossie and they are awsome. These eat disks though so will be going the DS2500's next. Most of the Cossie boys use these and they are supposed to be superior to EBC. As for fluid I use Motul DOT 4 stuff. Don't forget that DOT 5 does not absorb water. This means any water can cause vapour lock with temperature, i.e. on the track. I therefore use a high quality DOT 4 by looking for a very high boiling point. I bought all my stuff from Demon Tweeks, (dear but you can get next day). Cheers
  10. This is being organised by Dave (from the other side). But it is a public meet so open to all people and all cars. This is to watch not take part BTW. Dave is still waiting for a response from Shelsley walsh, regarding admission prices, but believes it will £10 to £12 per person. I'll be going, Goeff from the Evo club, plus at least 3 other Zeds. Let me know Quote from Dave below Cheers K
  11. Rich, You need to call the supplier direct. Let me know and I can PM you details. Cheers K
  12. I've got a DIY spring installation write up to post BTW. I'm stuck in a hotel at the moment though. Will try and get this up tomorrow night. So for anyone installing there own springs, read this first. There's a few good tips which will save you a lot of time, plus loads of pictures.
  13. Thanks for the compliment. I went for RS-R Ti2000's. These drop about the same as Teins. I believe Teins are 0.7"/0.6" front/rear, whereas RS-R's are 0.6"/0.6"
  14. What I meant was decide on the brake kit you like then search for UK dealers. The only brakes I have personally bought are AP's. You could also search www.my350z.com Since a lot of US guys have upgraded their brakes. See what they go for.
  15. Not sure, but you are OK to surf the pages for research. You can always order over the phone..
  16. Sounds really nice Lee. I didn't realise this... Look forward to seeing one in the flesh.
  17. Rich, Personally I like AP as they are pretty much the best. Stoptech do a nice kit which the US guys fit. Not sure where you can buy from. Try searching the US sites for ideas first, You can then either import or find a UK dealer. A good place to start is www.performancenissan.com both have acomprehensive list of upgrades. Also, try PM'ing Rish he has a Japanese spec car so may be able to help more. Hope this helps. Regards K
  18. Thanks Val, you would not believe what happened with a certain individual who will remain un-named for now. (posts have now been deleted).. Anyway, you will probably be seeing a lot more of me now let's say... I'll get some more pictures up on here, not sure about the other side..
  19. Hi Rich, Looks nice. I especially like the rear spolier, really suits a roadster. Can't help I'm afraid on the delimiter. Cheers K
  20. I think it's a combination of personal taste's, the colour of the car and style. I would stick to Japanese wheels, i.e Volks, Racing Harts, etc. For the Cossie I've gone for a more retro design, simple 5 spoke star shape. These are my new wheels.

    Performance

The torque curves I saw showed more torque at lower revs. Basically the torque curve was flatter but didn't peak at the high revs. Maybe you should think about getting the car on a rolling road?
  22. I was talking to guy who has owned an RX-8 so a couple of years. I test drove them both but didn't like the look of the Zed at the front, (each to there own I guess). He said the biggest disadvantage of the RX-8 was lack of torque at low revs.
  23. Let's organise another Drift Day then later in the year. PS: Did Dom get his suspension arm fixed?
  24. Hi Val et al, Just to say I've been watching both threads with interest. Like Rish I don't have time to post on both but will make a bit more effort in future. Shame you didn't make it to the Drifting. Entry was free if you were with someone, so you could have mentioned Glynn or me. This was becasue there was a kitcar show on. Next time?
  25. I scatched mine against the kerb and Chips Away fixed it. Almost invisible, well i can't tell yet where he tounched it up.
