  1. Difficult, especially with 1400 bhp
  2. If anyone would like their contact details then let me know or go to http://www.statusautodesign.com/
  3. I visited these guys whilst I was in LA last week. They have a nice setup in Hermosa Beach. I bought my Work Wheels from them and I know there are others in the UK who have wheels on order from them. They are really nice guys and Rick was very enthusiastic about the Zed. That's his Red one. These guys are really into drifting. The Corolla Race Car is Matt's and he was telling me that they go up into the mountains regularly and drift on the street. Seems thet they don't have many tracks around there.
  4. Pictures from Petersen Motor Museum Chip Foose Cars Pictures from Hollywood
  5. Pictures from LA The White Mustang is the car we hired in LA, (pretty nice car for US roads).. Mystic Maroon (lovely colour, why don't we get this?)
  6. Some Pictures from San Francisco. The White Sebring Touring is what we hired there, (horrible)..

    Wheel Brands.....

My personal oppinion is you should stick to Japaense Wheels on a Jap performance car. Volks are a safe bet and make some lovely wheels, but there's loads more you could go for. Try looking at my350z.com for ideas or www.350zonline.com at their gallery..

    GT4 PICS

I was thinking of Nismo wheels but they really don't suit the silver. Go black...
  9. They came whilst I was in the states so not fitted them yet. They are basically replacement struts but are fully adjustable. Much the same as the Koni Sports Kits but 16 way adjustable. They are supposed to be top quality and are the same as the S-Tune shocks except those aren't adjustable. Tokico make the S-Tune stuff. They should match nicely to my RS-R springs. Will let you all know what they are like once fitted, hopefully Sunday...
  10. Nooo..... Don't tell the missus... And people will tell you these forums save you money. Don't believe them. They all encourage you to spend.... Hi Kev , its all your fault , you set me off on the search of rims after seeing yours !!
  11. Only just seen these. Very Nice Tim, your car looks soooo much better. Just to fuel the wheel weight argument, I have forged Compomotive MO's on the Cossie and these are extremely heavy. They are designed for rally use though so super strong. I also have a set of Mag Alloy Forged Speedlines with slicks and these are superlite. The slicks also save alot of weight. My Works are heavier than my GT4's but alot of this is down to the tires being heavier. 18kg for Rays is very light and even if you do find a 19 that light the tire is certainly going to be heavier. PS: New Tokico D-Spec Suspension going on this weekend...
  12. Hi from LA. I definately recommend the Petersen Motor Museum in Beverley Hills if you like American cars. There's also a nice Chip Foose exhibition.
  13. Looks like 350z-uk have the best plot. Well done Val.. I may take our caravan. Probably best to park up in the long stay camping area. Do you have a contact number I can check with the organisers Val?
  14. Welcome Mate, from Los Angeles at the moment but live in Belper, so you're just down the road.
  15. Sure no problem. We stayed at Fisherman's Wharf. Here's a Picture which kinda looks like a postcard.
  16. Hi Guys, Weather has been superb in both San Francisco and Vegas. We're at the Mandalay Bay now. Here's a picture from the Grand Canyon Helicoptor ride this morning. We're off to LA tomorrow...
  17. I think the weight may make them a bit expensive on the excess luggage charge..
  18.  Let's hope we aren't together. May I suggest you check Val.
  19. Hi Dave, I replied on the other side. They aren't the same as mine but are very similar. Mine are Work Meister S1 3 piece. BTW, don't let certain moderators over the other side put you off. You have excellent taste in wheels mate...
  20. Just to make you all jealous.. Here I am in San Francisco using the hotel wi-fi. Been to Muir Woods to see the Rewoods over Golden Gate Bridge today. Weather is 20 deg C, sunny and dry. Off to Vegas tomorrow. Seen a few Zeds and some pretty cool cars
  21. Hope he's OK. At least the Zed has lots of protection around you. More than most anyway.
  22. I agree. My daughters Megane had exactly the same thing from 3rd to Second. If you took your time it was OK. The car did have 90,000 miles though so this definately needs looking at. If the dealer won't follow up you could always get an oppinion from a gearbox specialist. Very worrying though on such a new car. I wonder which parts bin the gearbox came from. Probably some Nissan pick up or similar...
