  1. amen brother! i'm getting it printed on A3 laminated and then i'm sticking it to the fridge door
  2. do i win then, i got the most right, with the bonus point of guessing the yellow car whats the prize brand new tyres all round
  3. Never heard this before - when did they release that info? i don't think it was an official release i believe one of my friends was in discussion with one of their people and the information came out.
  4. check your manual or look on the lid of the fuse boxes as it tells you on the top whats what.
  5. no.5 i've never heard of, is that a malasian tyre?
  6. cut off for £215 road tax is april 10th 2006 i think, give or take a month. anything after this is £400, but those who are before this date are apparently going to be brought up to match by the end of this year beginning of next, this was always the policy, but has just been postponed while we have a ressession. with in the next 12-18 months all cars built after 2001 will be subject to the new taxes. so if you get an older car, you'll only avoid it for a few months. most people who are renewing now are buying just 6 months so that they can renew fro 12 months on the old scheme before it changes
  7. I'm based in Rayleigh, but Colchester isn't too bad. 19th I can't make it though. The new transformers film is out then... Regards Sean the last one was at 3.30 as aqua wanted to watch the grandprix, only went on a couple of hours as we're a small meet at the moment. i think we were finished by 5 ish, the other hasn't got a start time at the moment, so it might be earlier if that helps. check the events section its all broken down in to areas, and the current meets are all there.
  8. jerry on here is the essex organiser, and is promoting lots of big meets and he is an ex honda CTR man. there are several up coming meets in essex, and there is one in suffolk at ipswich on the 19th of june if that helps. its 20 min form colchester, just depends on how far you are from colchester.
  9. is the alloy bent? maybe not the front face, but the rear rim. maybe dislodged some of the wheel weights, so might need re blancing. tracking could be out, so a full wheel alignment might sort it. check your ball joints, (jack the car so the wheel s are just off the floor and then give the wheel s a good tug (best done at a garage)) have alook under the car, make sure nothing is bent, you should be able to see if it hit anywhere as there will be fresh scars. other possibilities might be that you bolloxed the suspension but i think that is unlikely. start with the simplist ones first and work from there. worst case might be you've damaged the steering box
  10. Anyone else got sqealing problems with Yellow stuff? I am planning to install mine next week and would be useful to know what to expect! make sure you put plenty of copper slip/grease behind the pads, should eliminate alot of the squeeling.
  11. ok now i'm not in the lead, shouldn't have added you now
  12. i'd go with the yellow stuff to be honest, EBC recently came clean about their own grading system on their pads, original it was Green - same as OEM stock Pads Red - Better than stock - fast road occassional track Yellow - track use only but EBC have said that to be honest there not up to the level that was original stated Green - is below stock level (for performance cars) suitable for cars under 1.6 litres Red - Equal to to OEM pads (for performance cars) Yellow - better than stock - Fast road and occasional track days which means that EBC don't actually offer a track orientated pad. so if your going to go EBC go for the yellows. or the ferodo ds2000 perofrmance (not as hardcore as the ds2500 but better than stock) CS sells all of them and get get you what ever you want.
  13. maybe the case, just most people on here who ive seen fitted tend to put on the copies. as the nismo stuff is so expensive. have a look at r800ner posts he was selling an offial nsimo kit and it had pictures, it will show up on there
  14. the nismo stuff is made to fit JDM versions, these don't have headlight washers. cutting out is not to much of an issue its just getting them lined up right, i think they also have to make new brackets for them to sit on as well. i'll be able to tell you when i've done mine, ave a bodyshop doing that bit for me.
  15. it might be possible to do the whole badge in silver, but i don't know about a brushed ally effect. i plan to debadge the 350z on the right hand side to balance out the car if that helps
  16. as for spraying and fitting, its probably best to get quotes from body shops in your area. lots of people have good bodyshops near them, and maybe able to reccommend one in the hertfordshire area. fitting is a doddle. you could possibly do it yourself, the only mod that needs doing is if you have a UK car it will need headlight washer holes cutting in to the new bumper.
  17. sorry not trying to be harsh with you, its just you started this all in your wish list thread, and you could have continued it all in there as well, instead of starting another 3 threads all of which cover the same stuff that was in thread number 1. its not your fault, its just we get alot of newbies all who are unsure of the car and the forum but the majority all ask the same question. so we tend to go through this in duplicate every week. you'll realise it after you've been here a while i think all newbies get a thread repeat allowance when they first join, you get so many free ones before you get the gentle nudge in the direction of the search function hope you don't take it personally, as its not meant to be, we all love new members as they all bring new ideas and life to the club, but sometimes you guys just need some tough love. don't worry we've all been there,
  18. the offical nismo one is GRP as well just looking at alot of your other posts, you have lots of ideas, but no real direction. it might be worth making some of these decisions once you have one, that way you'll be used to the car and can tell what you want. you'll also find alot of the information you want and need is already on here, you just need to search for it.
  19. Hayward and scott are your best bet, they do them for porsches, lotuses, jags you name it they'll craft a system for it.
  20. those of you who have refered to black infills on the rear i understand as i mentioned this might be possible. but those who have mnetioned brushed aluminium, i dn o't quite get what your asking for as i had never mentioned it before. are you wanting the whole badge to be done in silver with no colour infill? it might be possible but its worth you clarifying with me and rob what you actually mean.
  21. i think its 10 x 1.5 but it could be 10 x 1.75 or 10 x 1.25 its all a blur, have a flick through on ebay search specifically for 350z shifter knob and some of the big brand knobs have the thread size on the advert
  22. i think that yellow car with the toyos belongs to chesterfields greddy kitted zed
  23. even if you go 370z your still welcome to come join us at the meets, we'd all like to have a nosey round the new beast.
