i wanted my sat nav in the cubby. visually when driving i find it better to look at the cubby than even lower where the stereo is. also long term plan is to change the headunit and have another screen based headunit most likely the 3100dvd by pioneer. that way i can have satnav and screen seperate.

thats fine, then i'll get it repaired before i fit it. so what do people reckon on price then?

do people reckon i can get away with using exhaust wrap and just wrap up the flexi joint?

this isn't a head unit think of it more like a satnav with extra features. so it will work with the bose unit. and should allow me at a later date to upgrade the headunit if i choose.

just had a look on the web and in the states they cost around $800, so converted uk style they are about £501 new.

i was thinknig then to offer him £300, total cost would then be £430 am thinknig thats still too much for the exhaust. what would people pay for one that wasn't damaged?

i have been offered a 2nd hand Invidia G200 true dual, apparently it has a split in one of the flexi joints is thsi easily repaired? also he has asked me to make him an offer, i don''t want to take the p1$$ so what should i offer him and what is it likely going to cost me to have the system repaired. also what are peoples opinions on this exhaust, i know very little about it, apart from its a yank system, not found anything bad about it, and it does look like a nice unit.

right time for an update. i have finally bitten the bullet, i love the system and don't want anything else so i have booked my car in at dave wallis in ipswich. www.davewalliscaraudio.co.uk. they have worked on several 350Z's and said they are able to hardwire it into the car audio system. they reckon they can do it without the supplied amp. but it will most likely use just the front 2 speakers. will find out for definate on friday afternoon. more importantly they reckon they can get round the problem that the unit is 4mm too wide for the cubby. they reckon total cost of fitting £160 for 4 hours work and parts, i don't know if this is a good price or not, but i've got to the point where i'd pay itr just to get it in properly. will hopefully have pics up by friday afternoon.

nope. i just use them when they re needed, its a choice, where as BMW's are only fitted with indicators as an optional extra.

am tempted to cancel, as all the other bulbs up front arfe philips, but its only the indicators, and hell how many times do i actually use them any way

Phillips are much brighter than the silvertech ones BTW **** a duck now he tells me

just ordered some from the same site. will try and send back the other bulbs for a refund.

these T20's indicator bulbs your refering to seem to be the ones for the side of the car, the 582's i got were for in the headlight assembly themselves. i'll get some T20's for the side of the car at halfrauds then.

i'm in the process of dealing with the same issue with nissan GB. was last told that i was not a loyal customer so they wouldn't do the work. so i wrote them a letter, that was 3 weeks ago, rang them today, and apparently they sent my reply just before the bank holiday. so hopefully have their latest reply tomorrow. if its not what i want to hear i'm back on the phone. nissan are going to fix my problem, they just don't realise it yet. its a nissan fault, i didn't cause it through wear and tear, its due to an issue at the factory, its a noted problem, its theirs to pay for and fix. and thats the line i'm taking, and no is not a reasonable answer.

i think m350zb had a preivous one altered, i enquired but they have no patterns at the moment to follow, i believe the price your getting is the reduced price for being the frst, after that the price goes up for everyone else.

the bulb number which i ot off of autobulbs was the 581. i checked it by car make everything. will find out when they come i suppose. as for the boot its a 501 as far as the guides say.
