  1. yeah wasn't it previously owned by daily thompson
  2. if you can afford it, why wait? its all relative, you might buy it cheaper in 12 months but you might have to sell it for less at the other end.
  3. some nice plans, personally i'd leave the y pipe out if your going down the japspeed route. and get an xyz pipe from abbey m/s. the japspeed manifolds have built in decat pipes, so come mot time it would be a pain. the xyz pipe will allow a single easy to change pipe in the straight section which can have a choice of straight pipe, sport cat, or full cat.
  4. forgot to say, i use royal purple 5w30 other popular choice is silkolene pro s, in either of the above viscosity
  5. 5w30 or 10w40
  6. i never understand these giant weekends away, i had my stag doo about 2 18 months ago, went shooting, go karting, off to a really good curry house and then down the local for a lock in till 6 am. had a great time, wasn't looking for clubs and bars, and had to try and keep it fairly affordable, alot of my mates don't have a lot of cash, and i wanted as many of them as possible to come. i'm best man for my brother, and i've still got to sit down and organise his. he's getting married in august. so less than 6 months to plan something. i think we're going down to london. think a comedy club will be involved, but not sure on daytime entertainment yet of food in the evening.
  7. shame to see your selling up, but look forward to see what you do next. alot of my blood sweat and vinyl went into that car
  8. i'm not normally a porsche fan, but thats the one model i like.

going on stats from the press isn't always good, japanese cars do have a habit of under quoting. doesn't the new R35 do way more than the factory says. i'm sure i remember clarkson saying "he's the speed limiter" and the car kept pushing through. (might have the wrong car)
  14. for me its an unknown quantity, but then i'm not a massive brand whore. others may know of it?

always bad when cold and first started, should settle down after about 10 minutes
  18. should do. exedy will work with the stock fly, and this is smaller so can't see an issue. never heard of the brand though, so don't know what the quality is like? and its also very light, i think its even lighter than the fidanza, so possibly might get more noise out of it than the fidanza (that is a guess though)

depends if its raining that day to be honest it hardly does anything to the tyres, i inflated mine up to about 40-45 psi, can't remember now and they did fine.

you'll probably find its a mix of your tyres and driving style, sounds like your being to violent and and heavy with you gear change and throttle control, the key with the zed is smooth. as for drifting with the handbrake, sounds like you watched Tokyo drift last week. you've got a v6 RWD car with a shed load of torque, and if your tyres aren't very grippy at the moment, then power oversteer should be a piece of pi$$. need to have the traction control off as well. my recommendation, if you want to practice this technique and your private road isn't long enough. that you go and do an activities day. usually run on an airfield, costs about £40. loads of space and nothing to hit, and you can find out what your cars actually capable of. not only that but if you ask nicely the instructor will come out with you and give you some instruction as well. usually do something like a high speed bend challenge, then onto several different sprint courses, and sometimes finish off with a giant course layout.
  23. was going to say, weber motorsports does something similar, and its used on the project mu car.
