  1. i'm 5 foot 9 so i'm average in height, but i have seen SMS in full swing and it wasn't a pretty sight
  2. it s because i remembered what my JWT was liek when i fitted it
  3. i'm so out of practice and my fitness has gone down the pan, i think i'd struggle to finish 1 3 minute bout.
  4. i'm from a boxing background, found the fitness training very good and teaches good discipline, but as said before its all down to personal preference. even in boxing different people have different styles. i'm unlucky in the fact that i'm not massivley tall and my reach isn't as long as others, so if i was sparring with a taller opponent with a longer reach i have to get in and under there attack. great once your there as you can do a lot of damamge, but getting there can hurt and you have to learn to take a few punches for me it was the fitness and the learning of discipline and control.
  5. depends have you done everything you want to engine wise. if so then i'd say go straight for the re map the advantage with most of the body mods is you can do it bits at a time and build the kit as you go. so start with the front bumper, then the next month do the sides etc.
  6. nope if you mix the 2 you'll get the velocity stack, but it will be in an enclosed air box with a low down bumper air feed. its why i have the typhoon, but have retro fitted the Apexi filter, as it has a velocity stack as well
  7. 06 box and a decent panel filter will give you the best BHP
  8. if i remember rightly the JWT had a wide open mouth which pushed on to a very large mushroom shaped velocity stack. i think the connector was ally, so you'll need option 2 as the ally end then pushed up into the original air intake
  9. the K&N intake tube is 3" so depending on what the connection of the JWT is it will a./ go straight on and just need a jubilee clip to secure ( i have so new spares) b./ require a 3" silicone coupler and 2 jubilee clips
  10. it will be as BT are slowly upgrading all its old copper phone lines to fibre optics. among other things. you even find you can now get virgin broadband.
  11. as a performance based driver i wouldn't trust stretched tyres. i know its discussion thats been had before but personally i don't think its a sensible move.
  12. I dont think it will as we are PAL and im sure over there its NTSC. I think i think my new headunit plays both
  13. my MOT was done last week, it has HFC's and a true dual exhaust. it failed on the first test, but the bloke let it run for longer before doing the 2nd and it was fine. first test is really strict, and if it fails it then it has too do the second test. only need to past the second test if i heard my MOT tester right.
  14. takes the pi$$ our budgets have all been cut for this financial year. our department is down by almost half. makes me laugh when i hear brown talking about the fact that schools budgets won;t be affected thats a cost those schools could do without
  15. nope just the TV tuner, i'm making a guess that it should work over here my new headunit has plenty of AV ins and outs so shouldn't be an issue.
  16. i was initially confused with your first post as it was labelled as japanese audi i was wondering what it was going to be
  17. finally got round to ordering myself a new headunit, and your post about the JVC got me interested, so i've bought a slightly older model of yours the 810 insttead of the 830. looks a nice piece of kit. just ordered all the stuff from sextons. so will have to wait and see how it goes. am bricking it about fiddling with the wireing
