to be honest the only filters i would avoid are the steel mesh ones, they are cheap and rely on oil doing all the work. race teams use aftermarket filtration for one reason only, it because it does a better job. other wise touring cars would just be running stock everything. even amrk at abbey motorsport reccomends stock air box BUT with a cosworth drop in filter. and he has more knowledge than most when it comes to the performance of mods.

underneath my nismo looks similiar. its part and parcel of being kitted. biggest advantage is people can;t see under there.

there was a guide a while back that i read on another forum, it was an independent test monitoring the filtration of different filters, and they also compared against stock paper. this was done a fair few years ago, but the stock filter was not as good as the after market ones. and in particular the apexi filter maintained the same level of filtration as stock while also allowing more air through. i'll now have to trawl several forums to try and find it to back up my statement. may have to wait a week or 2 until i find it as i've been members of a fair few

if they are 18's they should be 245/45/18 rear and 225/45/18 front if those arent the sizes you have fitted this may be the cause of your problem

if they do insurance work there is more money in that, so jobs like yours get pushed back until they're quiet and then they work on yours. what they've done looks good, shame it took them 15 months to do it. a good bodyshop is like having a precious jewel, they are hard to come by and when you find one you never let it go. i have a good shop near me and now everything goes through them

if i pull in straight to my garage i can;t get my fat ass out, so i pull into the left hand corner in a now perfected move, which now allows me to do a minor circus contortionist maneuver to get my fat ass out. also have carpet on the wall so the doors don't rub on the brick

my new car is black, but as its a little older the paint is looking a little swirlly, i've been toying with using turtle wax's black box, specially designed to restore black paint. i know its not a fix, but more of a filler, i might just bite the bullet and get my friends garage to machine polish it. just ordered some fresh dodo super natural wax for it. and fresh clay for claying. its the middle stage i'm umming and aring about. looks really good what you did. top job
