  1. its the meet organisers job to keep it tidy and post all info in the front page.
  2. Thanks for that Husky ..... mine's just started to click at 71,000 miles and at the moment it's a single click so not too bad ....... I shall get the CVs repacked at a service later this month My clicking is quite horrible sounding, but I'm saving up to get the replacement's from Alex I believe. May as well do them right eh. How much ? apparently that info is in the apparent useless stuff i gave you in the beginning.. god.. figure that...
  3. thats exactly the route i'd take as well. and in that order. will get pics up as soon as i get it.
  4. cat c and d might seem cost effective, but you could end up spending a small fortune on them putting things right. imports are a good route into a cheap car.
  5. hmm its a memebers on here, personally not liking the wheels and i don't tend to touch anything thats a cat c or D
  6. cragus i do it delibertely just to wind attak up
  7. same here, its going to clear my credit card Shouldn't have modded the zed if it mean't you would have to sell the car to pay for itself to be honest i got bored of the zed i woul dhave sold it regardless of cash
  8. HOLY COCKWEASELS BATMAN! Dude, I've been waiting forever to find someone else who doesn't like TVR interiors, I thought I was the only one! I know they're minimalist and stylish and beautiful, and yet I really can't stand them in the slightest. Chim, Grif, Tuscan, Sag... They're all fugly to me. +122389238389393289392932 thats 3 of us, maybe we need to start a facebook group
  9. you always said mileage didn't matter if it was a good car with good history. mate i did it partly for the money as well. i have a change in car and 4k in my pocket Correct but you had a better, newer car with less mileage.............. "better" thats subjective, newer, yes, less mileage, yes i could have got a newer one but i prefer the AP1 version to the AP2 my road tax is now halved, my insurance is the same. mods are cheaper than on the zed. the fuel economy is better, i now have a convertible which i missed. like most of my cars it will probably last about 18- 24 months before i change again. nothing else i would have swapped the zed for. maybe apart from something with a V8 and i'm not in a position to feed one of those with fuel

  11. for the 350z there is a dyno print out. but i susually take ones done by manufacturers with a pinch of salt. the 350z is the only one with a dyno read out as well
  12. hadn't though tof the electrical side of things on the zed, its not an issue on the stook one benefit of them is that they send them out with new foam inserts to repad the bolster section, so if yours has gone a bit saggy it should help fix that. might be worth an email to them to see if they cater for the dside airbags/uk car/ electric control bits
  13. check out the thread, i'm going on memory so don't quote me on that
  14. again from my browsing of s2ki one of the big problems with the s2000 seats is the bolster wears really easily, and one of the mods alot of people are doing is clazzio seat covers, they pull on and over the original seats without needing to remove the original leather. they are also made from the same template so the fit is very good and no real saggy spots etc like yo uget on generic ones. this seems to be the best website for them http://www.gotuning.com/index.php?manufacturers_id=57 might be useful for some especially at $250 if there was enough interest i might look into doing a GB for the club. they get good reviews on S2Ki
  15. its a cast piece in the first place so they never looked pristine to start with. over time you will get a build up of aluminium oxide that will be the white chalky residue. its not as aggressive as iron oxide and only affects the surface. polishing will remove the casting marks and the texture due to sand casting. will then only need a top up of autosol to maintain it every so often. if your going to polish don't use wire brushes as there is a slight risk of iron contamination into the aluminium and that is more aggressive and could lead to fatigue of the metal. personally if your going that way speak to nrez, he's doing polished plenums on an exchange basis for about 125-150 quid i think. and they are done by professionals and to a high standard from what i've seen.

    PRM CAI

Been spending some time on s2ki and in my searches i came across these. http://www.prmracing.com/ lots of them are used on the S2000's and i noticed they had a version for the 350Z, so thought i would share it with people. if there was enough interest i'd look at organising a GB or something. would work along the same line as the JWT, they looked quiet funky, and only $279 any thoughts, anyone used them?
  17. very true can't believe i have to wait till wednesday evening

they're 19's i think its 285 40 19 rear 265 40 19 front check with some of the others who run them though i migh thave my middle numbers out i think some even run 295 or 305 on the rear and some as low as 255 or 245 at the front
  19. most manufactures put in the minimum requirement. you only ten dot upgrade if you plan to track it or like a club memeber, prefer the best etc.
