  1. lots of car potential actually comes down to driver potential.
  2. You paid far too much if you paid £16.5k for an 06 car You pay your money, you take your choice... 13k miles - 1 year warrantee, MINT CONDITION..., 2 new rear tyres and tax for a year gives me a bit of a saving mine was 06 12k on the clock GT service, tax, and still in warranty, bought for 15k 2 years ago, wasn't a facelift but that only accounts for about 500quid difference. but if you found one your happy with and it ticks all the boxes then
  3. i once beat a Ferrari off the lights in my mums metro. admittedly it was in the other lane for turning right, but i was still quicker
  4. leave the lip and do the wheels.
  5. i used the 5zigen low height nuts from sarah at chilli red. the locking nut has all corners taken off and a special socket. no nut is theft proof, if someone is deternied enough to nick your wheels they will.
  6. there goes englands chances
  7. looks nice, but at the mo mine works fine, do you reckon there will be a new xbox platform at some point?
  8. These might work without any adjustment or spacers http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alpine- ... mount.html
  9. mine didn't use a drop, i was running 5w30 royal purple oil
  10. mine got switched off for track days and hot days. to be honest i never got mine to light up when spirited driving. all about being smooth
  11. you may find that the stubby you have is a copy, the original ones from honda (the S2000 ones) are about 40 quid from honda and are very good, but the copies out there aren't they look identical but there is a transmission difference apparently.

    Rubbish brakes

Can you run redstuff with grooved discs bm? all EBC "Stuff" pads should be used with flat discs. you can use them with drilled and grooved discs but i think that their life span and effectiveness is not as good as it could be with a flat disc.
  13. my new set for my S2000 cost me about 40 quid, its expensive to start up, but once they need replacing you can get refill blades for under 10 quid. spent another 20 on the fluids as well. managed to get all 3 though but the difference just the wipers and rainx made was excellent. on the Zed i hardly used the wipers as at over 40 mph the rain just used to bead straight off. i could drive in torrential down pours and pass lorries and never have to flick them on. most noticable at night time. makes a huge difference.
  14. ebay motorworld wilko internet
  15. i used rainex on my zed with the PIAA wipers, just run out of rainex, wipers were so good, i've just ordered them for my new car, and i have also invested in the PIAA washer fluid, screen cleaner and screen protector. not at all cheap but the quality of cleaning is by far better than anything else i've seen
  16. strip the air box housing off and just pop a sock or your mums old tights over the air intake tube. maximum noise and air. total cost: free on a more serious note. modding the zed isn't cheap it is/was a 30k GT car. i'd stay away from anything with a steel mesh filter. they are just crap. piper cross is fine but has no heat shield so will just suck in hot air and give you heat soak. as will most of the little filters you find. only way round is get one with a heat shield or air box, or one that moves the filter out of the engine bay. all of those kind of filters start at around 120 and go up from there. personally if i was going cheap then i would get the JWT, thats as cheap as i'd go; i had it, and it was a good setup. no point in me recommending anything other than that as the one i had was double that in price (K&N typhoon) if you want to spend less than JWT then its drop in panel filters but they won;t give you the noise your looking for.
  17. some excellent work, about to attempt something similiar on mine soon. just waiting on a load of stuff
  18. there is about 10 zeds near me, proper common in suffolk and thats just in ipswich, still a stunner though, and always draws a gaze from people.
  19. good effort, its the same reasons i haven't posted pics of my new baby yet, got some new cleaning stuff coming and once i've done that then its photo time. good choice of car, seems to be a goodun
  20. **** me lexx thats a 30k car at almost half price after 2 years i ended up px mine in for 12,500
  21. i have a tonneau cover and cargo net that i'm selling soon. no longer have the car, just not got round to putting them up on here yet.
  22. Are you actually Engish / British? british/australian, 2 passports, but my main issue is that football is for gay's, so the quicker england goes out, the quicker life goes back to normal.
