  11. maybe take a flask of hot water with you especially on days when you plan to fill up. you cna then either pour it over the stuck area. or if they doesn't work, you can drink it to keep warm while you wait for the AA to come and reful you.

    accelera tyres

camskills would be my first choice, if they're out then the tyremen would be a close second choice. if you can;t find any sessantas my 2nd choice for the zed if you don't like toyo's would possibly be the uniroyals rainsport 2's or the khumo ku31's i'd also say the falken 452's but some don't like them on here; and that could be to do with the zed being heavy and the stock profile allowing to much movement for that tyre.
  14. cheers tim for organising this; and thanks to the lads at meguairs, had a really enjoyable day, and learnt some new things. i too will be putting the DA on my list of things to get.

that is indeed my old car in the picture; if i got them again i wouldn't get them in a colour but in black like husky. they are not perfect but about 2 weeks after fitting them on to my newly refurbed wheels i got forced into a curb by an oncoming 4x4 who wouldn't move over and i curbed the wheel; but the protectors took all the abuse. and because they were fitted i just shrugged and went; meh! if i had not had them fitted i would have been fuming after spending 200.00 for a refurb only to screw one up. for piece of mind they were great. they aren't permanent, and if you get them in black, then from most directions they look almost invisible. admittedly from a side profile looking down the side of the car they do stick out a little.

    accelera tyres

Uniroyals RS2 arent an out in out sports tyre IMO but its quieter than GSD-3's and are epic in the wet, really really good. Dry grip is 7/10 but wet grip is pretty much equal to dry grip no joke. The sidewalls are a little soft and they dont have the best grip outright. Also I didnt find them as good as any other tyre when hot they perfer warm/wet. partly why i reccomended them, tends to suit the british weather well and to be honest most people on here aren't pushing the car hard enough to really loose out with them. agreed if your an agressive driver or do track days they may not be the best tyre but for price and grip offered you can;t go to wrong with them.
  17. i'm unsure if its really going to hit suffolk at all and if it does i think we're getting it mild
  18. i'm in the same boat, i really should go to bed now
  19. i think it will help to see it once its painted to match the car, for me it still looks like it has the soft top up in black
  20. Can vouch for Mike, he does good work Mine is the better option though have to agree, the works already been done, might as well buy ians for 30.00 cost you more to get yours wrapped.
  21. 2nd hand mr2 and stook roofs go for 1000.00 easy. so those prices seem inline with most other OEM roofs, honda UK charged about 2.5k for a new roof back when they were in production.
