  1. i've heard of lowering the car, but that a bit extreme, i reckon he'll scrape on the cats eyes
  2. its not bad, in baby blue, not many of those about makes a change from the norm
  3. at the price 452's are i'd just swap the lot.
  4. don't know much about these, i know they were popular in japan as a drifters car, but the shape of them never really appealed to me. but that one does look good, look ofrward to seeing the finished weapon.
  5. top job its nice when kids do things like this
  6. 912's wont be bad; they aren't bad tyres and they'll be alot better than the ditch finder cheap crap you can get from china etc. 452's are by no means a premium tyre but its a good budget tyre and it performs better in a sports situation than the 912.
  7. north london and you have some good choices abbey motorsport are in oxted surrey DMS in erith kent (near dartford bridge) both are top notch have used DMS and they know their stuff Abbey i would say are one of the top nissan garages in the country. not used them, but never heard a bad word. both have websites of their own. both know their cars, both treat your car like thier own precious baby.
  8. seems like a good idea to stop tailgaters
  9. the 452 are the better of the 2 tyres. fk452 aimed at the performance market, ze912 is aimed at the day to day user shopping wagon etc.
  10. i'd rather watch this than sex in the city; which my wife made me take her too as at the time she didn't know anyone in the area.
  11. its nothing a DA polisher wont fix the majority of in the summer, but removing it by hand wont work. i'd rather save the work though and spend 10 minutes tonight with a bucket and wash mit.
  12. man-too's are the next big thing down south, maybe you northeners should get in first, its basically a too-too for men
  13. just double clutch while its cold once warm swap back to normal. double clutching seems to sort the synco's out so you can find the gear.
  14. i don't mind them, for a bit of mindless viewing they aren't bad. cant say ill be down the cinema on opening night but when it comes out on sky premiere i'll probably watch it.
  15. have you done all the traders in this colour? ............. cough..............husky.............cough...........cough.....R35LEE......cough....cough
  16. not nice, 350.00 ish notes anf you can get yours retrimmed far nicer and keeps the functionality, that or save up and get some recaros or sparkos or bride ones. could always do one at a time, buy the driver side, save up again and then get the passenger one. speak to darren b he just has the driver seat and the passenger seat isnt even fitted, his is a single seater zed
  17. they come with a voucher for the fudge packing shop and you get a discount at the rusty sheriffs badge club and free entry to the blue oyster
  18. just putting it on and taking it off will move across the surface, if its dirty, you might as well take some 800 grit to the car. not only that you'll transfer dirt to the inside of the cover, so when you do have a clean car it will keep sratching the paint work even when the car is clean. my advice go out tonight bucket of soapy water and a wash mit give it a quick wash down, no need for anything else and then pop your cover on if your worried about the cats.
  19. straight as a roundabout; tent peg, dog leg, doughnut, .... select one?
  20. never heard of a auto on a zed have problems. only ever heard the manuals go pop.
  21. thats a new bumper job no fill and respray will work on that. 2 options: 1. 2nd hand replacemnt; if you cant get the right colour maybe a respray at about 300.00 +- a bit 2. aftermarket front bumper; will still need spraying, if its a genuine it probably will only need the spray; if its a copy it might need extra work which can soon add up.
  22. :pmr35lee: depending on colour he may have a 2nd hand on ein the right colour lying around, would save you a lot of money and possibly no need to go to a body shop for painting and fitting.
  23. i've had parts off him; what i was told was to be a perfect fit and required no work cost me an extra 250.00 fitting costs. i got them to replace some old skirts the idea being if they were perfect fitting and required no work other than painting it would save me money. if people had been honest in the first place it wouldn't have caused such bad feelings its why i don't use several traders on here i wouldnt have minded if i had known but i don't like being BS'd my body shop did comment on the quality of the fibre glass, it was nice and thick and the gel coat was even but it was too short and did not fit the door seals. i'm glad you have a good bumper and your dealings have been positive i look forward to seeing it fitted and painted and will enjoy seeing pics of the new car.
