  1. i have some tensol 12 lrf4n it melts through plastic a treat, would disolve that vinyl like junior disprol in water
  2. - Honda S2000 - Nissan 350Z - Honda Civic Type R - Toyota MR2 Roadster - Pugeot 306 GTi6 - Rover 214 (my first car 91 plate)
  3. seems to be 2 distinct groups those that would stay away and those that have never had an issue. and it all seems to come down to who fitted it and what kit. the installer of the kit on the car i've seen is LPGA approved which is what your meant to look for. and i think it the romano system which again is meant to be good and also self lubricates the valves.
  4. cheers for the heads up; this is what plays in the back of my mind.
  5. i cant see the point of buying a car and then not driving it; especially when you look at the cost of insurance and road tax etc.
  6. exam papers on mine; just marked the last one; and now i have to do an analysis of it all
  7. You really are a weirdo aren't you Rich? i get grumpy in the summer i love being cold, or rather being in the cold. i suppose i am the human equivilant to a polar bear. if you were to take that polar bear and put them in a desert, you'd see why they get grumpy. kids hate my workshop as i've turned my radiators off and open all the windows. if i teach ict in an A/C room i set it down to the lowest setting. if i wasn't married i would sleep with the window open all year round.
  8. is the line where the masking tape was; if so the ridge is the thickness of your new paint and no amount of t cut will fix it. you might be able to flatten it back with some 2k wet and dry, but you may end up having to respray. pictures would be a great help. what were you repairing and where on the wheel, and where were you masking up too?
  9. i loved the soundtrack, might have to find it for a listen
  10. not a s cheap as it used to be is it think teh national average is about 70p per litre. Have you checked out if there are many pumps near you? http://www.petrolprices.com is a pretty good guide to locations and price 2 places within 5 miles, one right next to work, and the other round the corner from my house where i normally fill up one is 73.9 the other 76.9 still cheaper than the 133.9 or 129.9 for super unleaded at the same garages. on 12,000 miles a year i'd be making an average saving of 94.00 a month

  12. what shire says makes sense. only reason we had to deal with asbestos units was that the contractors we worked for had to use them. if you can do it yourself i would. only thing i would say is buy a decent respirator. i use a 3M one for spraying paint cost me about 30 quid an is excellent. use the overalls and at the end of the job take them out back and burn them. the fibres are only harmful if your disturbing them,
  13. sorry ro be the bearer of bad news but that won't be cheap. i worked with aspbestos units on building sites; it requires people to be fully kitted out; plus extraction etc. cant be any risk of residue; nasty stuff. probably looking well into the 1000's for it not hundreds. might be wrong, but i don't remember the service being cheap. for such a small job as a flew you might be alright
  14. because your not important enough
  15. i tried voting for our area but apparently we're already on the roll out. but when is a nother matter,
  16. sorry to see you both had such a crap time in what should be a great holiday destination. i've done very little travelling;; but i went to the maldives on honeymoon and stayed at bandos resort http://www.bandosmaldives.com/ it was amazing, we had a beach villa hut and it was great. also been to mauritius and stayed at the belle mare plage http://www.bestatmauritiusholidays.co.u ... 4QodkjVMZQ that was about 10 years ago, but another great holiday. my grandparents took us as a once in a life time holiday. both places were good, but i reckon mauritius had the edge, just because there was more to do; being a bigger island.
  17. depends if yo uhave the time to strip it really; i'd probably take the cash myself.
  18. don't mind travelling, not sure of the location; just know its about 186 miles away. i've travelled for most of my cars,
  19. its the right colour; has the arm rest; looks in good nick; mileage is withinn what i'm looking for; plus the lpg seems good. downside is that it does take up alot of the boot; but still keeps the car useable
