  1. servicing isn't difficult, but i get a good independent to do it for the stamps in the book. a car with a full service history is far easier to sell than one with no stamps.
  2. from what i remember the uk has an 75 or 80 L tank where as the jdm was about 50-60 ish

  12. engine lights there for a reason, tells you something is not right. to ignore it without knowing what has caused it is tantermount stupidity. you can read the code using the reset method above mentioned above, or plug a code reader in. there is also a thread listing all members with code readers who are happy to read codes for people for free. it may just be a glitch or minor sensor fault; or it could be engine failure. general rule of thumb is if the light comes on get to a garage as soon as you can. if its flashing stop the car as soon as it is safe to do so and ring for assistance.

  15. there is a throttle position sensor reset procedure. also worth resetting the ecu and clearing the code i had the code years ago and that made it all go away. just out of interest have you fitted anything in the enginebay resently or has it been serviced?

  17. from what lucy said a while back i think you can offset the vat of all things you spend on the rental property. so anything done or bought to maintain the property can be offset...i think
