  1. looks good dave, nice to see my parts found a new home after vik
  2. i had a 350z and swapped to an S2000; swings and roundabouts to both of them good luck with what ever you choose to get
  3. the 4wd that comes as standard on the 3.2 v6 is whats swaying it; but with the way petrol prices are going again i'm very tempted to sit this one out leave the big petrol engine behind and go derv for a while. might have to go look at the 159 as i know they did a Q4 diesel version.
  4. i was very silly and when someone on another thread mentioned alfas i went and had another look and i think i have fallen in love with the brera 3.2 v6 with the Q4 4wd system. i know its very heavy, and its not as fast as it looks and the golf r32 is probably more capable, but its a car i would be happy to own, drive, be seen in, etc etc. it has that more grown up feel and the interior is exactly waht i want in a car, its where is epnd most of my time and that one is lush. its very similiar to the 159 interior and i had one as a courtesy car a while back and loved it. even though tit was a diesel. the leather seats are just so lovely to touch so the question is; if i get one will i spend my entire life at the side of the road in a puff of smoke and permanently broke buying new parts for the car. i know th old alfas had a bad reputation, but these new ones apparently have a BMW engineer in charge of reliablitity and it uses a GM V6 and none of the big review webistes seem to kick up any issues.

    custom grill

is the grille in your avatar pic your car as well. i'm going to be really honest, both look like a quality design but for me they are too kind of gansta bling for my liking and perosnally for the zed. but i'm old fashioned i like my traditional woven stainless steel mesh grille. gives the best air flow as well
  6. good effort, did you take tips from husky?
  7. i thought this was about some kind of african city
  8. i think your right though, all spurs supporters should be tested weekly, apparently they all drive like numpties
  9. Kind of off topic but how come you never see white dog poo anymore... i believe the ingredients of dog food in the UK has changed to remove an ingredient which caused this. haven't seen a white poo in probably 15 years.
  10. ricey you have me laughing; i will never let you near any of my workshop tools in my trade you are what is known as a "liability"
  11. seems good to me; glad its not going to be as bad as i thought good to see people doing it at a reasonable price.
  12. i was silly and went and looked at alfas, i think i want an alfa. will have to start a new thread
  13. ekona's right, its bad habits of long term drivers, and lack of experience of new drivers. still think new drivers are the bigger risk, young lads tend to like to go out in a ball of flames my 6th formers are prime example. so far in the last 8 months 9 of the 6th formers have written off cars.
  14. if you want to learn about shares why not start off on the penny shares market; lots of info around, and only play with a small investment; say less than 100.00. at the end of the day this isn't alot different to gambling. just know your game; and don't play with more than your willing to lose. as for the car buying thing. has potential, but mechanical knowledge is helpful; or even just a friend who is mechanically minded. helps spot lemons and other tell tale signs of a sh1tter. i did love your list of DIY achievements.
  15. thats very nice indeed, far more my style, some of the oder ones just seem to have an older man image; not that they aren't nice; but i just don't think i was old enough for them yet. would always feel like i'm driving my dads car. but that new one is tres bon.
  16. i love alfa's and would be tempted by a petrol one; with their Q4 system. might have another look tonight at them it wasn't that i was specifically looking at LPG cars, its just i was looking at R32's and found one with LPG and didn't want to discount it out without really knowing more.
  17. its on my list of things to do. might actaully have a go this year as well.
  18. turquoise; about the only colour that hasn't really been done in the UK; looks alot better than it sounds. or if you want to go the more everyday route, then: candy apple red orange yellow green or maybe a nice deep crimson something with pearlesent or metallic in it. have a look at house of kolor lots of ideas in there.
