  1. my biggest wish in someways is that i hadn't gone to uni and actually done an aprenticeship instead. i made it through but it was bloody hard work and i've made it in to a proffession i enjoy but life i think would have been better if i'd learnt a full trade; and not just picked up little bits of everything. today i find i'm a jack of all trades but i wouldn't say i'm a master at them; good yes but not master. i would love to have one good trade like master carpenter or blacksmith. i can make furniture and do metal work but not to that kind of standard. this is partly why i've gone off and started my own business in my spare time to give me a release it to something that is my own and i enjoy. and if it takes off then i'll crank back the teaching.
  2. at 25 i was teaching and getting married. at 25 the world is still fairly open, your not to old to retrain and generally you've not got that high up the pay tree to take to much of a loss to start in a new profession. depends on how serious you are and what you want to do, you might have to make some sacrafices to start in the job you actually want, and work your way up to a point where your at now. this could mean saying good by to the zed and saving cash else where to get started. what do you want to do police is a good career, the armed services still have till your 27 to join.
  3. oops forgot to add morris dancing and gimp masks to the list
  4. prostitutes; cocaine; alchol; the usual
  5. wouldn't have either, don't do anything for me,
  6. I didnt think there was much love for hankooks on the big tyre thread ? Dixon at DMS raves about them as does the bloke at GarageR (S2000 trader) i suppose it depends on which ones you get; hankooks wouldn't be my first choice, but they are superior to nankangs by a long shot.
  7. Not everyone! Apart from an alloy refurb and a regular detail I doubt I'll do anything tarty with my Z... I'm not even getting a stubby! there was a vote a while back on what people bought their zeds for and the majority seemed to have bought it to look good and not to go fast in. i suppose i should have said there are a lot of car tarts on here.
  8. with a likely 12 hour fitting cost to pay for i'd want to know what went in was not going to go tits up after 12 months. because you'd need to pay for another 24 hours of labour to repair the issue plus proper parts on top.
  9. Hankook Ventus V12 evo k110 and Hankook Ventus RSS Z211 both worth a look as well. i think all the tyres i have mentioned all fit within the toyo falken vredestein bracket for price. also lots of other options if you willing to spend the money. Continental contisport 2 or preferably 3's are very good, MPS 2's if you are very flush.
  10. if your depserate also look at the uniroyal rainsport 2 an often forgotten about tyre that actually performs very well and easily on par with toyos and falkens. http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Uniro ... port-2.htm very highly rated if money can stretch also try goodyear eagle F1 asymmetrics
  11. because every one wants to make it looks nice before they make it go nice lots of car tarts on here i helped you fit these and they are a good piece of kit, also has a very clever fitting on one of them. agreed it should be a more popular mod.
  12. no amount of stretching will fix my bolloxed right ankle
  13. yes dodgy legs is my excuse although i would say the the brake pedal is too high; when you press down with the ball of your foot its biting too high before you need to get your heel over to the accellorator pedal. with out the 380RS pedal though its bloody impossible the pedals are too far apart. i have size 11 feet so its not that i have small feet. obviously the lack of movement in my fecked right heel don't help. i know this can be remedied by lowering the brake pedal but its a fiddly arse of a job. in the S2k it just works right out of the box
  14. i've been playing grand theft auto, and now have the urge to run people over, shot strangers and rob stuff..... oh no hang on a second, i'm not a moron and can tell the difference between a computer game and real life
  15. bit more than i need, if you come across anything lower down the market at agood price let me know.
  16. to be honest on this forum we get alot of BS positive reviews on here and a lot of people dont write anything negative about some traders even when the service has been bad as they are worried about slating a big forum trader. i know of lots of issues with some other traders that aren't mentioned on here.
  17. there should be a proper ground point and it needs a good connection on to good bare metal to achieve a good ground. the zed headunit and any after market headunit in the zed wont work with out it.
  18. congrats on the purchase, if i did it all again i'd get the roadster, yes the coupe looks better and the roadster does look like a KA from the back with the roof up, but for me its the roof down motoring that means so much. it was on eof my pet hates that in all my favourite roof down motoring times i couldn't put the roof down.
