  2. yes and regarding an OBDII reading; wahts your location, several members have them and are often happy to read codes for people.
  3. depends on what your looking for OEM or aftermarket, hi flow or de cat Cheap de cats around 150.00 hi flows start around 275.00 and go up from there OEM 2nd hand, speak to Zmanalex or R35LEE brand new if you go to nissan will be something silly like 1000.00 possibly might be able to find copies for about 1/4 of that new.
  4. budget seems fine, should get something around the 05 to 06 reg for that, condition is everything on the zed, if its tatty walk away. or haggle them down alot. long drives are fine engine at 70 mph sits at around 2.5k to 3k rpm i found the seat gave me hip ache but im funny; most find the zed very comfortable. insurance try admiral; adrian flux, i would say chris knotts as well but they wont touch you till you've had a performance car for more than 12 months and not crash it. sat nav is crap i'd find an after market one.
  5. thats the kind of review i like to read about a forum trader, i never got the chance to use abbey with my old car, but i'm still a huge advocate of them. i;d roll down there without a hesitation
  6. i just don't like ferrari to start with so thats never really going to sell me on a car anyway, i also think its ugly as well. as for arguing over a driver, i have no idea as they wear a big white helmet and never talk. for all i know its sarnie doing the driving.
  7. i thought it was a good show, loved the rally cars, not impressed with the GTO; thought the Aussies had a good sense of humour about it all as well. that white van was insane
  8. its alright you wont need to send me one i am just looking now and should be able to source some for the job.
  9. Wasso i must admit i've not tried to cut anything like the magnetic stuff before, i have a feeling its quite thick and i'm unsure if my machine will cut through it. but if i can source a pre cut magnetic sheet to the size you want there is no reason why i cant add the graphics to it.
  10. Well all of you know me already, as i've posted a few times before; and some of you maybe aware of some of the work i've previously done for 350Z club members. Well now i am a fully paid up member trader; at the moment i'm happy to offer a full Vinyl cutting service be it for cars, shops or something at home. All designs can be discussed and you have the advantage of being involved in the design process to make sure you get exactly what you want. I also have a range of pre done designs that have already been used. feel free to drop me a PM or email me for more information. in the near future i hope to be offering hydrographic printing finishes but more information will be released in the future. also check out my website for more information. http://www.rtcustomz.com email: richard@rtcustomz.co.uk
  11. for the movies to work on my xbox i had to convert the file output. but i cant remember what i had to change them too. might be the same on the ps3
  12. nice move i'd love to do more go karting; might be the cheaper way to trackdays and without having to put the car out there.

Hankook Ventus RS2 Z212 or Hankook Ventus V12 evo k110 both are worth a look

    Hankook Tyres

not good .............. ask Husky really as he's never used them; are you thinking of his nankangs? hankooks (depending on which one) are good tyres, several race teams use them and i know several track enthusiasts that swear by them. Dixon at DMS rates them very highly.
  15. i dealt with albany when i got rear ended on the A14 several years ago. was at the front of a 6 car pileup. i stopped because of an incident ahead; i allowed breaking distance in poor weather, the other 6 cars behind me didn't. dealing with albany took ages, they sent medical speacilists out to check things and i had to claim for 6 sessions at a chiropractor to sort out my shoulder. took 18 months before any money turned up. i thought albany had shut down, and had been bought out. look slike they're back.
  16. you can wrap a turd in carbon fibre as much as you like; but at the end of the day its still a turd.
  17. its like the special olympics line up
  18. key points with nissan and most jap cars the paint is as thin as a gnats testicle and soft as puppy poo. but the mechanicals are pretty reliable. chips can be repaired and tired paint work can be revitalised and brought back to life. gear knobs can be replaced for new shiney ones options: - buy an older one use the money saved to make it mint, with new parts and a trip to envy valeting - buy older and get it wrapped, it will give the exterior a brand new look and protect the car from chips etc. - buy older and respray it. - buy newer and deal with the fact that to some extent they will have stone chips and you'll need to put a bit of work in to get them to look good. - don't buy one.
