  2. I'm a 30 year old jag owner my original career of international playboy and spy never took off, i tried to make it as a porn star but i just didn't have the staying power, apparently no one wants a 20 sec porn film. so now i'm a professional forum nusance. in my spare time i also do a bit of teaching
  3. I think this is quiet apt just replace modern man with Jaguar/Merc/BMW/Audi man etc, Renaisance man with Zed man and medieval man with corsa/saxo/fiesta
  4. When I had mine,it was confused with an audi TT, or called a a jap Porsche. OR PEOPLE HAD NO IDEA AT ALL. I DERANGED MINE. AND HAD THE TOMMY K ZED BADGES EVERYWHERE which really confused people. Sorry for the caps typing on the phone can't be Arse to re type it.
  5. possibly not the best kind of response to a long term member. Your posts are not the easiest to read in the first place. and if you're rude to people you'll tend to find many of members won't bother pitching in. as for your predicament, ABS only kicks in under braking, so unless you applied the brake pedal ABS wouldn't have done anything. most likely stability control kicked in. the car comes with both traction control and stability control. it would have been one of those. without being in the car and seeing the corner its very hard to comment on a situation that someones written about. the car is setup with more understeer to counter to much oversteer on the rear. check your tyre pressures,

  16. without sound rude i think the forum might have already peaked with the 350 no longer in production and the 370 not making the same kind of sales that the 350 ever did. and the number of 350's are shrinking slowly each year as more are crashed or written off etc. plus the amount of regular posters is only a fraction of people who've actually signed up. i hope i'm wrong. and happy to be proved wrong, but i don't think it will happen.
  17. civinfo was pretty good a few years back
  18. Debatable, it never used to be it's just that the powers that be trying to make it go this way, personally I don't think it should be. Whilst I don't like to see players getting injured good strong tackles are definitely an important part of the game in my opinion. just had a read up you might be right, In the USA proper sports are now known as collision sports like rugby, american football hockey etc. and pansy games like soccer are now known as contact sports as they're allowed to touch each other. compared to non contact like table tennis. Footballs a vicious sport though, i can see why it might be upgraded to a contact sport http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwST-t-YyCs its just loucky no one got their handbag out, or there could have been some serious injuries Unlike proper sport http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAb3_Y6safQ now thats how you tackle someone
  19. i filled up at the start of the month for 1.339 a litre, drove past today and it was rammed and now its 1.38.9 5 f'ing p in 3 f'ing weeks. i need to fill up on friday to drive to wales but i don't know if i should fill up early on thursday instead i only have quater of a tank left
  20. yes but football is a non contact sport. and in rugby the one thing they have that football doesnt is respect for the referee and video refs. if you swear at a rugby ref, your team is penalised etc. and your sin binned. it still has issues with corruption, but football is so badly tainted by money thats all its about the cash these days and not so much the game. football needs caps on player salaries, it needs to reinstall respect for authority and the referee system, it needs to bring in the 3rd ref (video) if a ref is not sure go to the video judge. and thats just to start with, i don't remember any racial issues or as many in other sports, or the homophobia. nor do i remember rubgy matches needing riot police to break up the fans. i can drink beer at rugby, hockey, basket ball, american football. in all of those matches i don't have to be segregated from the oposition. can't say the same for football.
  21. if he'd routed something like this to the backs of his brake discs he would have seen the true benefits of flexi ducting.
  22. it never left the gutter it leaned one druken arm out, but the rest of the body was well and truly entrenched in the gutter. its been in the gutter so long, the council has given it planning permission and its own door number. if it keeps going it won;t be long before it takes residence in the sewers.
  23. making sure your tyres are at the right pressure can have just as big an effect on MPG as much as 10% making sure your car is super clean will reduce wind drag by 0.5% not having your window open will have about 15% affect not using aircon will have about 5% affect
