  1. Camber visually looks similar to what I'm running currently on the back (I adjusted in some more neg camber recently by eye using my adjustable camber arms). I recently did a track day and tyre wear was not an issue on the inside shoulder and seemed even across the tread - so probably the ideal camber which I guess is around -1.5 -2 ? By comparison his front looks very upright (close to 0) although depending on stiffness of springs, as the car brakes this would increase neg camber. But then as you come off brakes and ease back onto throttle I guess will got back to 0 deg, which while cornering will wear the outside shoulders....
  2. Thanks Carlie - I spoke to a colleague the other day. Unfortunately you don't offer agreed valuation policies unless the car is under cover or the Flexcover Flux do. I will consider you for one-off track cover in future though. I understand the 5 pack isn't available unless main policy is with you.
  3. As I've discovered, it's not difficult!
  4. Bit like between R34 and R35 era... The 350Z was launched right in the middle and carried the candle.
  5. Indeed. Second hand Evora that is... Around same price as a brand new A110? But then I've always thought it's a bit mad to buy brand new cars, unless it's pretty rare and you're on a manufacturer's preferred buyer list....
  6. A bit odd looking I agree, but still on the positive side for me, I like it.
  7. VR30DETT - can see them being monsters... 700-800whp stock block maybe? Edit - although would need E85/102 octane + ... Maybe 600whp on UK 98 RON? Hmm
  8. If the latest render is anything to go by then yes I agree
  9. I'm pretty sure I see more 911s and Caymans than Cayennes, Panameras and Macans. (Modern ones - not counting 996s, 987s etc.) Maybe regional though
  10. Because Nissan actually do have more (modern) reputation for sports cars. Renault's Alpine history is a lot longer ago and out of most people's memories.
  11. Good ideas... The Alpine I can see holding value as well. I've heard very good things. Only downside is it's a 4 cyl. Amazing curb weight around 1100kg. I'd say it's quite a different car to a Supra, M2, M4, Cayman. Cayman is one of few cars I'd realistically move to from the Z, although I think running/parts costs would be far higher. Also the GTS with the 6 cyl is £65-80k...
  12. Confused by this... Competition being ... M2 at it's price point? Far less interesting to look at. What other cars am I missing that are rwd coupes around £45-60k?
  13. One assumes the OP doesn't run their 350Z through/as a business .... jeez. Not to mention being against the spirit of tax law.
  14. That's one clean LSX swap. Any more photos? Are they a member here?
  15. Plus considerable shipping, import duty and import handling fee.... probably another £200-£250
  16. I also suffered the same juddering as Alex when braking from high speed... Disc surfaces seem fine and it was doing it all day long as soon as they got hot - anything on the surfaces should have been well scrubbed off?! Driving the car today, no juddering... which makes me think it's not hub/disc run-out. But would overheating pads cause severe juddering through the sterring wheel? Having said that, seems the pads might be badly worn after yesterday as the pedal travel and feel has changed drastically - far less travel, making you have to almost stab at the pedal rather than feather it on the road. ps. Any opinions on DS3000 pads?
  17. Clean and shiny or clean shiny with primer-only body panels? If the latter then it might be me. Or it's maybe the grey HR I've seen which I think might be a staff member's....
  18. For sale DEPO blackout 350Z headlights 2006> facelift style Fit any 350Z with standard Xenon headlights. 19. To be 'safe' you need 2x HFCs in each side.... They might pass for a couple years but with very narrow margin. Thing is, even if you put in 4x 2.5" into 4-5" body HFCs in the Y branches, the flow is still waaaaaay higher than the ceramic stock cats and good for 1000hp in all likelihood before becoming more than a 1% bottleneck. I have 2 issues - I went the HFC route like you and couldn't pass with the ones I had installed without an additional HFC added after the Y. Initial tests were 0.37% CO, then right on the 0.2% CO limit after adding the third HFC. What I'll probably do is move that latter one to one side of the Y branch and buy another for the other side like I mention above. The other issue is the noise - because they're virtually unrestricted flow (very close to de-cat flow) the car is insanely loud. Not helped by my 3" single exhaust. Might struggle for track days, which is my immediate issue.
