  1. Haha exactly. Obviously we can't prepare for everything. As was mentioned earlier, how do you vet someone hiring a van, or prepare us for that situation?
  2. Its a valid point, the pressure has put her off the rails.
  3. er the latter, the SO insisted when we got back together. Actually it kinda helps in a sales environment. I don't think we need the home front roaming the streets, but a better educated populace I think is a must. Like I said, I don't know how to make a bomb, but if someone buys a load of flammable thing and bearings i'd be suspicious
  4. Seriously though, coupes have the boot floor space, but wrestling a kid into a 3 door is a pain. a DC5 would be ace, but a fast wagon will be best of all worlds.
  5. They fold sort of flat. The issue with kids (well, babies) is, whether you go out for a few hours or a few days you need the same amount of stuff. My biggest trauma with my girls now is which is going in the zed, and which the crashqai. It'll be other trauma when they're teens, but i'm in denial about that.
  6. Its no more or less of a knee jerk reaction than Corbyn replacing his ex-fling Diane the day before the vote either desperate to distance himself from her woeful conduct and to win a few extra votes. They are all at it. No, she's poorly. I read it today.
  7. Any decent high functioning sociopath can fake there way through psych tests, i've passed many and I'm a self destructive sociopath. Any dimmwit can give them answers they want to hear. When asked why you want this, it takes someone really special to say 'I want to intimidate none whites'.
  8. I think if Trump said environmentalism isn't something that can be fixed through tax, but through action, he would have saved face. But no
  9. I can feel my staff discount card coming out as we speek...or i order one and charge it to the company...
  10. We need posters and tv adverts like we had in ww2 and the cold war, we all carry a phone with decent camera EVERYWHERE we go. I have heard adverts on radio telling us to shop in our neighbour if they have a sudden chemical fertiliser delivery, other than that, i don't know what suspicious is. If someone told me that buying certain products and paying cash was suspicious and to make a call, I would.
  11. That wasn't all directed at you TT. I think educating us civillians is a great idea. What to look for, who to contact, best course of actions to take etc.
  12. I'm afraid I too have a cynical view on it, it seems like a last minute bid to clinch votes by preying on emotion of recent events.
  13. My mum had 2 or three, remember doing long distances i them as a teen was hell, my head having to go in the boot space as it was against the roof otherwise. Still didn't stop me deciding it would be a practical car for me though
  14. Celica's have big boots, its rear head room and leg room that's the issue i seem to remember.
  15. See I'm all for digitally enhanced humans and deus ex style augmentation. The speed of technological improvement is scary, from dial up, to 4g mobiles in less than 20 yrs.
  16. I got baby seats in my tsport celica I then tried to tell the SO it was a family car. She didn't believe me.
  17. I think it's fascinating. If we create truly artificial intelligence, would it have rights? If it was self aware and had a desire for self preservation, would we have to respect that and not deactivate?
  18. My kids cut it on everything I make.. going have a little cry to myself lol.
  19. Oh good shout on the ITR. Would you consider s15 silvia??
  20. What about that little honda CR hybrid? Do they have back seats? Very quirky, and supposedly handles like a go kart. Plus you get the hybrid tax and economy.
  21. An ex of mine went to Farnham Uni doing journalism.
  22. That is shocking. Glad it was a reasonably good turn out for you and the pretty young thing.
  23. Good shout yeah, i agree with that
