  1. Yeah it makes it harder to history check it. Is it a bit cheaper because its an auto?
  2. I think you're right in that they've twisted Islam to justify the deeds they're doing. Whether its enough of a deterrent I suspect you're right. But, I think its what the country needs, a positive display of Islam amongst all the twisted negativity. Even if all it does is prevent white nutters racially targeting people.
  3. Ace, an ARC reactor car
  4. Nice. Was hoping that would be the link to the 200sx. The chrysler looks nice though.
  5. Way ahead bud, i allowed my self 2 responses. I had them. Keeping shtum now. Edit: thats to say 2 responses of differing opinion to avoid going in circles.
  6. We'll be the modern equivalent of equestrian enthusiasts annoying people in our crazy smelly noisy slow outdated machines.
  7. There is always military uprising and dictatorship if he fancies it
  8. So what will we talk about after today? I mean obviously Dan will start another one of his amazing 30 page threads, and i guess we'll dissect the result a bit. Best get thinking of a new topic Dan
  9. I think it is the future, and lets face it, when internal combustion came in, everything about it was rubbish compared to now...compared to the horse and cart in fact. But look at us now. I think it'll be the same with EV. A new concept rarely comes out better than what it aims to replace in the mass market, but with constant improvements and tinkering it'll exceed the current.
  10. Good to hear , and yeah at 70ish db on tyres complete silence is unlikely. I agree with you on the styling, they look good now...for the most part. Not sold on the leaf yet.
  11. They same the same about voting lib dem . The difference is Lib dem advertise, its not advertised that you can spoil your ballot. Not sure what the % needs to be to be honest. But doing something is better than doing nothing...unless you're playing musical statues
  12. this is a genuine concern actually as my sister is blind Sorry if I came off as insensitive. I have more contact with deaf people than blind as my SO's grandparents were deaf. You see a lot of support for the deaf community, less for the blind.
  13. Very true, not voting shows you have no opinion. Spoiling the ballot shows you're unhappy with all candidates, or the system. I wonder how many young people know this.
  14. Yeah I assumed it'd be a financially better option for them, its just a shame.
  15. (tongue in cheek) What about blinding people crossing the road, they'll struggle with electric cars
  16. I've seen a lot of farmers who are replacing grazing land with solar farms. I'm not quite sure how I feel about that, as I think part of being environmentally responsible has to include a modicum of self sufficiency. Whats the point in cutting down energy costs, but then have to pay to import SO much more.
  17. I'm with Codel, I'm all for the country to be renewably powered, but I'm not ready to say goodbye to petrol just yet. It used to be the styling and noise. Now i'll admit some of the styling is going the right way, but I like the sound of an engine.
  18. Exactly on the mark of my point Fox, a showcase of whats becoming possible. Would I swap? Not until the arm has other benefits...like a bottle opening or a house key attachment...I would go down the pop up weapons route but I'm not an avenger to quote another thread.
  19. Part of me wants to see Labour win, and when/if things go wrong, see what the die hards say. I don't believe its going to be Rosie if things are Blue, brexit seems like an impossible task to do well.
  20. Tilly Lockey with her almost fully controllable Deus Ex styled arm created by Open Bionics, partially funded by Square Enix Montreal. She lost her arm to meningitis when she was much smaller. The work that Open Bionics does is incredible. I read her story a few months ago, nearly made ME cry and I didn't think i could. Edit: image wouldn't paste, but google her its amazing
  21. Problem is, if Labour lose, all we'll here about is how people were swayed by the likes of the 'Current Bun', rather than people like Dan who are well read (but not red) on the subject. Wonder if there'll be protests and marching in the street.
  22. Yeah like the possibility of having components hacked. I'd happily have an ocular implant with live data feeds of my surroundings. Not sure if id sacrifice an arm or leg though...maybe my left arm
  23. At least its sunny where you are, its grey here
  24. I was disappointing with how it ended.
