Its the same at RR, they hire outside companies to come and write programmes, it costs mega bucks, doesn't work and get problem solved by employees who can write code. Why they don't cut out the middle man and pay the people internally I'll never know.

Googled it and Trident runs on Windows XP, same as The NHS . Pete Prone to hacking then

Good shout TT, no arguments from me.
-
Agree on the donuts, I like mine the same as Bob Marley's. I do like a cold cider in summer though, even as an ale drinker, i'll let the cider slide
-
And you call that a knife?

Yeah but policies change through the years. How any people wont vote Tory barbecue the mines shut, or will because they were able to purchase their council house? Or just despised Maggy Thatcher. My in laws will never vote Tory because the 80s were hard for them I had many a debate with a red friend on FB and his entire argument was: Yeah but that was old labour .

See mine is about disease wiping out humanity based on a weak immune system caused by over sterilisation. 3 different people emerge: mechanically augmented that use tech to keep us healthy like TT described but have a lot of mechanical alteration, people who use animal gene splicing to survive relying on various animal dna to boost resilience but start to evolve into the animals whos genes they use, and die hard humans who intensify the sterilisation process and live like the boy in the bubble and are religious in there views. The three peoples are at war (obvs).

Just because Stu is labour, doesn't mean he agrees 100% on everything they stand for. He may have been one of the millions that despaired when we went to the middle east. Like all of us, he'll have parts of the policies he loves, and parts he's not sure of. Like Dan with Tory, he doesn't think everything the party is doing is right. None of us want war, and none us, really, want to live in a world where nuclear deterrent is necessary.

Gorgeous colour. Cream seats aren't for me, but I work in a garage...and have kids. Looks tidy though.

No doubt, he campaigned well.

Agreed Doc, people want blood and political leverage from a tragedy. Also agree that £1bn isn't huge when compared to £100bn potential brexit fee. Its just silly money and doesn't seem real in those terms. Still a bung though
-
DUP leader Arlene Foster said the "wide-ranging" pact was "good for Northern Ireland and the UK" but one critic said it was a "straight bung". Sounds about right.
-
That's ridiculous then dude i feel your pain. Should be easy to insure even with TT.
-
^^You should write a book dude
-
Some insurers ask me if i have kids...it makes me sound more responsible...if only they knew . Same with adding a male/female friend to the policy. Are you insuring it as a daily inc commuting? I don't insure mine for commuting and that keeps it down.
-
Tell them you have kids

Edit: Welcome to the Forum I wouldn't be too hung up on mileage, they're getting on a bit and a well looked after higher mileage will be better than a low mileage abused example. In regards to which engine to go for, we all extol the virtue of the one we own. The DE's are good for mods but star with a little less power, the Revups can have a habit of using oil, but have the newer front end and interior. The HRs have a bulging bonnet (very nice) can have issues with oil gallery gaskets, and as you say an internal slave on the clutch that can be pricey. Not all Revups consume oil, mine is a peach . In truth they are all great cars that will make you smile. There are a load of links of what to watch out for when buying one. Personally I'd check underneath for corrosion, the cooling fans engage, and good service history.

My Kinetix cats went straight through, but the rest of my system is standard. What is the rest of yours like? Did they get different results by changing tail pipe to probe? Strangely the exit nearer the rest of the system (where gases go into the back box) ran cleaner that the other. If your system is true dual front to back, they should have done both pipes and divided it by 2. Doesn't normally make a difference but can help. Rather than change the cats, which are a ball ache, we fitted a standard system for a customer but left his cats and it was much cleaner and easier access than cats. We put his old system back on after too.

I didn't like him during his red bull days, then he appeared on TG and I warmed to him. He's been off the radar a bit since Merc have been storming. But what he did was dangerous ad agree the S&G wasn't enough
-
I think that could said about a lot of the drivers

Looks good mate and do like those wheels. That's the problem with a black car, you can't wrap a black car black.

I saw it before it was blocked, looked like fun.

Give Gove to the teachers, they'd do worse that try him for treason i think from when he was education secretary . I think Brexit is something the nation is flip flopping around, because ultimately, we have no idea of the repercussions. We might become the strongest nation on the planet. Or we might become a third world nation. All we can really do is speculate. Speculate and hope.

I agree with both Dan and Stu on this one. I agree if you've worked hard for something, like being able to afford a nice house in a nice area, but then someone to be just gifted it at the councils expense, I can imagine that to be frustrating. But whats the alternative? They can't stay in shelters, and I can't see them knocking up a new tower for them. Trying to relocate that quantity of people quickly and fairly must be difficult. When I lived with my mum, my next door neighbours (semi) house caught fire. Our house was badly smoke damaged. but we had as much insurance as you can get, got put in a rented house same village for 6 months while our house was redecorate and re roofed. Everything in our attic was replaced, as were some electronics...and my train set (no jokes please). Now for the frustrating bits. The fire was caused by the neighbours leaving fabric sofas pushed against old school storage heaters. They had house insurance, but not contents as the believed god would provide (born again Christians who saw insurance as gambling). Now the house insurance covered the redecoration etc, but they also had EVERYTHING replaced internally, FOC despite lack of insurance. Now at the time it was frustrating for us and parents that we pay, and they don't, and they got the same benefits as us. In hindsight, I don't much care. My wife cares too much about what other people get gifted, by rich family members or insurance companies. I look at it from a pride point of view, that as little as we may think we have, we did it ALL ourselves and can be proud we are independent.
