When my bro 1st got his he managed to get over 40 mpg on his 1st run up to Scotland for work with his. We were really impressed with that.

Very nice indeed! My brother has an M135i and it is a weapon. It has a stage 1 map with intercooler and exhaust and drop in filters. I think its tunning about 380-400Bhp its bloody quick.

As long as the repairs have been done to a high standard and if needed the relevant dvsa check has been done then go for it if you like it. As above might be harder to move on later but if you get it for the right price then why not eh??

I did like the bmw, but it got very beige. So I had to come back to what I love.

The price they seem to be going for nowadays you might be better off buying high flow cats.

Roll tips Dave I got them from a guy who went for a tomie system. So I got it for cheap

So about time for a little update, I guess as it’s been a while. She now has a new to me, power flow exhaust. It sounds good quite a bit lower than stock which is nice. However I have some high flow cats on order. I have just bought from Paul Thompson a boot divider he had come up which I think looks great now fitted. I can’t wait for the cats to arrive... more noise

Not sure but they could be called kidney brackets or covers. As I said though I am not sure. But I will say someone more knowledgeable than me will be along to let you know soon I would think.

Hi and welcome along buddy. Don’t be out of by higher mileage cars if they have been well looked after and well maintained they should be good to go. As above it’s always worth a look, but no need to rush in and buy the 1st 1 you look at and try.
