  1. Thanks Stu, thread revival was definitely necessary, it has been paining me that I know this is here and I haven't been keeping on top of it as much as I should have been or indeed wanted to. Your choices look interesting, I am hoping to be able to give them a bash this week sometime. I am away tomorrow though and have plenty of work to get done before that trip. Might be the weekend before I get chance to actually have a go. Feel free to use your mod powers to stick the times and challenges up in the first post so that they are easy to keep track of and no post hunting through the thread for people wanting to check.
  2. Saw a silver 350 roadster, parked near the chippy outside the motor show at deal. Anyone on here, surprised it was the only zed I saw, wasn't part of the show either.
  3. Hahaha very well spotted.
  4. Live in Leeds myself , seen a few other Zeds around but noone on here has responded to my spotted posts so don't know if they are members. There are quite a few members based in the area though too
  5. Whilst I don't have the part number to hand, I'm pretty sure CMS sell these. So you could either order them from there or their website might have any associated part numbers you are looking for.
  6. I lived in ambleside for a while which is a few miles from bowness. At one point I worked in a restaurant come jazz bar that was called zefferellis if that is of any use to you. It is a vegetarian restaurant but I'm not veggie and ate their regularly as it was all tasty. Disclaimer: I don't know if it's still there. Not been that way for a while now.
  7. Not sure I believe what they told you as I'm not convinced they'd even pay out in that situation. I was under the impression that it's because a criminal could break into your garage pretty much unnoticed and enter and Hotwire the car without anyone noticing, compared to someone with a clothes hanger down the window in the street. Why would they not pay out under a comprehensive policy? Sure I would have excess to pay but if I want to make a claim for accidental damage that is what insurance is there for no. Not that I am necessarily in full belief as to what I was told as I think it is pure nonsense, I said I thought it was ridiculous when they told me that, I am just passing on the bit of info I was told. But I would rather have my car in the garage and will always pay the extra to make sure I stay legal despite my distaste for the matter. I can kind of see the logic in the whole stealing thing, but is it not also more likely that I have an alarm on the garage (which I do in my case) or that there is surveillance on the garage (not so for me, but perhaps in general) which would aid in finding said thief and the return of the vehicle. Interesting that the increased mileage put price down though as I was always of the impression that having more miles per year made you a greater risk as you spend more time on the road. It really does all seem a bit fantastical really.
  8. I asked once about the driveway vs garage thing as I find this every year. Apparently I am risk of scratching panels on the entrance to my garage which is why it's higher. I obviously think this is mental but it realy does seem like car insurance is a mixture of witchcraft and a personal lottery.
  9. Ah thank you very much. I know the zed is heavy but it ain't that bad so will get them ordered.
  10. Am just looking at ordering some new tyres for the Zed comparing prices on oponeo, tyre leader and camskill. I notice a code next to tyre description I am not familiar with which is MB1 which I can't seem to find a description for. Does anyone know what this means. The reason I ask is they come out at slightly cheaper per corner than the same tyre without this code on the listing. Very confused.
  11. Overtook me on road as stated above. I was in grey HR. You had interesting Reg plate ending ZZZ.
  12. Another shout out for Ian. Very pleased with mine.
  13. 10 or even 15 hours to finish a game sounds pretty fast to me. Having said that I don't play many modern titles, I think the last time I played through FF5 it took me over 30 hours and I could remember large chunks of the story and where to go when. Pretty sure the first time through FF7 it was approaching 80-90 hours. GT5 I have no idea how long it took me to finally finish that, the 2 24 hour races were what really slowed progress but I don't know if that counts. I am a million miles away from finishing GT6 and must have logged over 25 hours no problem. The only other games I have played within the last year are multiplayer COD blops1 and mw3 and Diablo3. Not 100% finished diablo on all difficulties with all characters yet and that must be well over 24 hours. I think I would feel duped if I spent £40+ on a new title and had finished in 10 hours, although I am adopting the Yorkshire ways and am a tight arse.
  14. Welcome to the forum, nice looking Zed you got there.
  15. Even under the small chance they did that this time, I can't see that happenong all the time. Although I still don't think they did it on purpos last Sunday.
  16. We had a qualy where the order was decided prior to the event before didn't we? And if I remember correctly one of the reasons it was scrapped was because of changing conditions being unfair. Unless I am remembering this wrong.
  17. You can buy a second harness to keep the steering wheel controls I have seen this, I was under the impression that whilst this didn't render the steering wheel controls useless it was the case that the answer and dial buttons did not work for the same purpose any longer, normally being used for a source change or similar. Would handsfree still use the built-in microphone or require one with the HU?
  18. Reverse grids, how would that work? I can see that GP2 and Touring Cars have reverse grids of a kind but they have 2 races over the weekend. Can't see how it would be done in F1. Pete To be clear I am in the anti-reverse grid camp. I think if you were going to employ this for F1 you would have to award full points for whatever qualification method was dreamed up, whether that be the qualy system we have now or some sprint race qualy system. If you didn't award full points then you would get teams aiming to qualify sub-optimally in order to benefit from the reverse grid.
  19. I saw similar analysis that was on sky this afternoon. To me this makes it look more Nico's fault as his concentration was elsewhere, not fully focused on the positioning and relative speeds of the cars around him. Either way bet he doesn't make that error again in a hurry.
  20. A retractable lid would make trying to fit a sat nav or other screen in the cubby more appealing. I'm still not decided on what I want to do in mine, really don't want to lose the steering wheel phone controls and voice activated calling etc which seems to be the case with after market HU.
  21. Bah was mislead on the title here. Thought we were going to have a discussion about the birds of prey rather than football.
  22. Fair enough, good luck hunting. Emperor on here has lots of bits from scrapped 350s, might be worth a message there.
  23. Totally agree with that. Ric really surprised me when he moved to RB but been pretty impressed with him. Some good intra team battles to be had at RB I'm sure. And maybe a couple of fireworks given both seem pretty determined to outshine their team mate. Begs the question what will happen to Sainz though over the next few years, not a tradition of Torro Rosso to hold onto a driver more than a few years and if the RB remains competitive next year which I suspect it will, I can't see a space opening up there for him.
  24. That's it im going to find my keys Edit: Mine on HR definitely doesn't retract in. Lifts only
