Wow I was thoroughly impressed with that. Verstappen did incredibly well. I have been very impressed with his driving. Mercs made a horrible mistake. Not cool but it's the first time I've ever found myself wanting the redbull to win. Really enjoyed the race, even though there wasn't much actual overtaking, I loved the tension and the chase between the 2 RBs and Ferraris. Notable performance by sainz, perez and massa too.

Just to add to my previous post. They do also have a courtesy car option, although if you want one you will have to book a few weeks in advance as they are a small outfit.

That was ultimately what made me want to change from the celica. Got a bit tired of either slow progress or keeping it in lift/changing gear all the time, particularly on the motorway. The extra torque in the zed helps a lot. The fact noone asks for a lift anywhere now is just a bonus I did sit in an exige when they first came out at a motor show but never driven or ridden in one.

Surprised at your love of the 2zz ekona. I had it in celica guise and whilst entertaining to rev the begeesus out of I did find it a little tiring to drive at times in everyday use. No experience of it in a lotus, I imagine the lesser weight means the lack of torque is less irritating. I suspect that in supercharged form in a light car it is pretty tasty.

Just to check is that provisionally sold to me? Only asking since you didn't reply to my most recent PM. Not pressuring you or anything it's just so I know whether to hold out on new tyres til collection or not.

As much as I am a fan of Hamilton I am surprised that you think he is likely quicker than Vettel. I am not sure who would win out in a fair contest between the two of them but think it would be close. I think I would sway towards betting on vettel over the full season though. I think he is probably a little more consistent and focussed.

That's why I can normally achieve most things I want to. Although different flavours of linux have different commands and so whilst overlap between ubuntu and osx is quite high it's not perfect for everything.

It does make a kind of frustrating that I must own about half of th contents of this set at more cost than the 127. But that same fact stops me wanting to buy the set as I will be doubling up on so many bits. Although I reckon you could buy some now at this price and sell them on at a profit once the deal has ended on run up to fathers day and christmas.

I don't think I've ever used windows 10. Or 8 or 7 for that matter except for sorting install problems on clients computers. Which I sort using the programmin language I'm teaching them anyway so no experience of the windows interface itself. Similarly for MAC. Although command line stuff much easier to guess in OSX so normally can acheive what I need to. My partner has been offered a Mac through work and asked me if she should take that over the windows option. I couldn't really make a good suggestion, poor form for someone who works with computers, as I can only understand the spec sheet of the hardware. I know that each OS runs differently though and have no recent experience of either. I would also note that my lack of understanding of each of windows and Mac is making me sound like a terrible fit for my line of work. I would clarify that I do understand how things like memory management and parallel computing etc work for the various frameworks and programming languages I deal with. It's just the GUI front ends I have no idea about.

A good audio control software will likely see u right with getting sound to your tele. I run linux on all my computers though so no idea of software/drivers for windows or MAC. And I can't bin the blackberry. I love them. I did own an android for a little while, never owned iphones and genuinely believe BBOS10 is miles nicer than android. Physical keyboard also mega handy. I am likely to stick with them til they die their inevitable death (or become solely android powered)

Ps (sorry for separate post, on phone, editing a ball ache) thanks for the ATV offer, I will politely decline since I own nothing made by apple and wouldn't know where to start with it and likely never use it. TV/films just generally not my thing.

I swear I'm not as tech retarded as this thread is making me look. I'm even a consultant and trainer for statistical programming so write code/software etc all day everyday. But never been massive into TV (motorsport about the only thing I watch currently). I don't have an apple or android phone. I must be one of the few people left on blackberry. I find the keyboard invaluable especially since most contact with clients is email based and I'm often on the move. So never got into the phone app/corresponding gadget scene. Have HDMI out on a couple of my laptops. Your comment about no sound is confusing though since HDMI is both audio and video. This is how I watch the sky only f1 at the moment (since I don't have sky) and have no issues gettin sound through the tele.

I don't get motors TV any more on freeview. Or do you mean I can stream from my laptop somehow?

It's not on free to air telly any more though is it. Am I correct in thinking it is easy to watch a live stream? I might try catch an hour or two and see if it repeaks my interest in it.
