  1. Inverness is a lovely part of the country. Some of the routes over the mountains are stunning. Shame that the weather is almost always rubbish
  2. I have HR and fairly sure the lid isn't retractable. I might have to go out and check now though. JetSet normally knows this sort of thing
  3. When we went to pick up Rafiki he was one of 5, I was trying to convince Claire we should take all five so as not to split them up and none of them had been homed yet. She wasn't having any of it as she didn't really like cats at the time. Although having said that she adores Rafiki now, the most well pampered kitten I have ever seen and think she would come round to the idea of getting some more in the future.
  4. The problem with reverse grids every race is that it would take away the surprise/excitement element and the race with fast drivers from the back would lose its special element as it would be the norm. I agree they make some of the best races but for me it's the fact it's unusual that really adds to it.
  5. If I was in the position to be able to get another I would be persuading claire but we really can't take another at the moment.
  6. I love the capris. A tickford capri was one of my dream cars when I was little
  7. Don't get much time to play games at the moment. I am in the middle of finishing a PhD thesis and starting up a company with a colleague at the same time so free time a little tight. However having had a very busy week last week and with a couple of jobs away from home this week and next, with Claire working yesterday I decided, after giving the Zed a wash, polish and wax, to start on Final Fantasy 6. I like the final fantasy series, adore FF5 and enjoyed FF7. Liked others in the series too, less so the most recent ones. Anyway I have had FF6 downloaded on my PS3 for a couple of years (along with 5,7,8,9 and 10) and never got round to playing it. So got started on it. About 90 mins into it, enjoying the initial premise for the story, still wish more FF games subscribed to the job system of 5. Made for great tactical play with loads to think about and made it highly replayable even though you know the story. It will probably take me until christmas to get through it but at least it means I don't have to worry about buying a PS4 yet.
  8. I think Tarmac Sportz sell these.
  9. One assumes that the good deal to be had only applies to new from the forecourt cars and doesn't really translate to second hand. Didn't know about the HR was introduced in May so that a nice new one.
  10. Good luck, hope you get the resolution you want. Keep us all up to date.
  11. So is it correct then that there is not a large risk of internal damage if this occurs? I.e if one notices a lower oil pressure then no need for immediate absolute panic if there is a reasonable level and no visible leak. Not that this is a concern for me at the moment but nice to know info ready for if and when this happens
  12. Whilst it doesn't help I have become increasingly peeved by the tendency of couriers to leave items in bizarre locations. I am sick of them putting parcels in my bins or, like you, over the gate or just leaving them on the step by the door, in plain view whilst also making it clear to every man and his dog that I'm not home. How can they be sure they won't be damaging my goods or risking them being stolen. Some of these items require a signature but apparently this seems not to matter.
  13. It's actually most amusing to see/hear him throw a paddy everytime anyone dares to even try to overtake him. Long may that continue. Whilst I agree it is amusing I have to say I am little gutted. I thought last year's Seb was a breath of fresh air in comparison to his previous petulant attitude and for the first time was starting to warm to him a little (ignoring the impressive Monza torro rosso win when I was impressed an pleased for him). Bit annoying that I have to start disliking him again.
  14. Both made mistakes, although I believe the overriding fault to lie with Nico I did think that both were partly to be blame. It reminded me of I think Bahrain a few years ago where Nico pushed both Alonso and Hamilton off the circuit. I think Nico's issue here is he is realising that Hamilton not finishing or running into problems is his only way to reach the title. First qualy back in proper action and Hamilton did kind of show him who is boss, even Lewis' Q2 lap was good enough for pole. That and the countless times where he has been outraced or cracked under the pressure of being chased by Lewis. I think he is a really good driver but is just missing that final bit to make him good enough to beat Hamilton, Vettel etc on a regular basis. Any way my vote for Monaco goes on Lewis. Maybe a podium for Verstappen whilst he is on a high. Edit: Agree Nico always looks miserable, I find it mildly amusing, it's like he is always slightly miffed as to how he is being beaten again.
  15. maybe but i don't think it was entirely clear cut who was at fault
  16. mileage means less than being looked after. (having said that I tend to try only buy lower mileage if possible, not necessarily a good thing). As long as you are happy with it that is by far the main thing.
  17. I would like to think no one is actually hoping for reverse grids. It sounds like a horrible idea. Yes merc drivers should be feeling pretty stupid right now. Although the shot of them both entering the merc mobile office with helmets still on did make them look like they had their tails between their legs as they well should. Glad stewards saw fit not to punish either of them though, we can do without all the too many penalties we have been seeing over the last few years. I do believe they were both to blame. Looking forward to monaco. Would be pretty impressive if Nico manages to make it 4 in a row there. Hopefully no repeat of the tactical **** up they made for Lewis last year. Interested to see where RB and Ferrari end up in the Monaco pecking order.
  18. 8k would be a bit low for a well looked after HR I think so I suspect you haven't paid massively over the odds or anything.
  19. As long as the car you have has been well looked after I wouldn't feel too down about it to be honest. On the positive side no need to worry about oil gallery gaskets now and CSC an easier job if it goes.
  20. Which is a shame because it is a lovely colour. Although the night blue replacement is also lovely.
  21. Fair enough, was just wanting to make sure they weren't noticeably heavier. Cheers Bradders
  22. Hey, I'm planning on collecting some black rays this week so am interested in some black nuts to go with them. Just out of curiosity what is the weight of these compared with the lug nuts that come with the rays. I can't seem to find them on your site.
  23. So by my count that's 11 kittens at the moment, are you planning on starting a zoo? Can we all visit? I'm a sucker for a cute kitten. Keep up with the pics
  24. Looks nice A full service sounds like a good plan
