only getting the 86 in UK. The Subaru had better styling shame it wasnt as popular. Its naturally aspirated again and only 228 hp. The GR Yaris will eat it . Its probably toned down because of the 2 liter Supra Interior is a no no. Looks cost saving

Considering trading the Nismo for TTS/TTRS
GranTurismoEra replied to GranTurismoEra's topic in Other Cars
I saw that on the draggy the GTR usually launches in 3.2-3.4 stock obviously very quick. The TTRS is around 3.7 and even quicker with a map....In terms of competition GTRs older tech, also rivals are quicker. Regarding weight im not sure the TT is much lighter than a Z. Its around the same as the Z I think -
Considering trading the Nismo for TTS/TTRS

lol nahhh its been 15 years admiring GTR from concept...I dont see the big deal anymore....I might rent one next year though...ive already spent £7000 on the Z in the last 12 months. Insurance, parts, petrol, payments....I think GTR will be more and theres no where to really enjoy the car. I remember my older brother saying i couldn't afford it lol...if I was on a mission I would have financed one already....The ZED does a great job and I get to keep my license lol....I can see its no biggie for the American youth to lease a GTR at £xxxx.99 per month .....Not wise right now. Have to see how covid plays out. -
Considering trading the Nismo for TTS/TTRS

@Ekona maybe refined was the word I was looking for. Smoother, insulated better, better suspension. @stanski ofcourse test drive is always best way to find out, ZP is ambitious as we dont know what the costs will be. Also the look isnt final its all based on feedback from the states probably. Yeah character is whats missing from many cars. The Mustang is popular here in north west London. Sound, looks, performance great package what both cars can offer -
Considering trading the Nismo for TTS/TTRS

Great point, the first line got me....tbh its always been a it is what it is car. Some might think he either loves the car or hasnt tried anything else. RWD once the tires start wearing down it becomes a chore in the wet despite improved grip over the 350. Its an alternative take on what it should be. Bar the suspension and stock pads, clutch etc I think its a great experience driving it. A TTS/RS would probably be the more mature drive and somewhat softened for everyday use. Still maintaining the sport/performance side. -
Considering trading the Nismo for TTS/TTRS

575bhp from 345hp Jeez.....Thats Serious..Stage 3 bigger turbos?....The mk3 TTRS would be great for someone who wants similar drama to the v10 for half the price. Although its no v10. Some might say you could get a 6-8 year old R8 for the price of a brand new TTRS just the running costs. Brakes alone are probably more than a GTR on a much older R8. I think the TTS mk 3 would be level on performance with the Z without the noise. TTRS would be quicker and a good sound better too... @Ekona the common faults are too many to list. Im sure MMI, Windows and other Electrical faults. As you say could go years without an issue. Under warranty would be ok. Ive heard of lemon zeds in the states for sure. @ShortPaul the Z would be better to keep although does attract a lot of attention ie tailgating and boyracers im.usually in the left lane with the priuses when busy lol This new Z would be a debadge 100% thats depending on price..Really and truely it should be priced at 35-44k and Nismo at 53k? Keeping the Z is likely we,ll see. Something says keep it for another year to 18 months then see what the prices are in Japan for ZP lol...in terms of looks ZP isnt on the 370 nismo level imo...Still a year away tho @Lee370Z yep my former boss had that mk2 TT. They came with the hairdresser tag which had me and colleagues scratching our heads... The mk3 looks more updated with a nicer interior...Cleaner lines. Just a bit on the small side. The 370 is much bigger and in your face... I burned 50 miles of petrol driving in town today. It returns maybe 5-10 miles once on a long consistent run...The TT would be cheaper to run daily petrol wise. I reckon 25mpg in town though for the TTRS hmm -
I checked with my brother who claims his mates TT shut down on the motorway. Ive never broken down on a motorway in 12 years of driving Japanese. What issues am I looking at with these cars. How reliable can they be. Wonder if anyone here has had the mark 3 current gen 2016 -

Probably needs an update. Check out the below "news" article https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8971487/One-three-motorists-afford-cheapest-electric-car-warn-experts.html

we need to find an alternative biofuel and push that as an alternative. As everything electric is not realistic for everyone. I like the idea of Cleaner fuel as opposed to just electric Eventually there will be many petrol cars converted to electric

Nice one,

American elections the best comedy show!
GranTurismoEra replied to stanski's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Biden can request a White House eviction of Trump on Jan 20th. I think the supreme court will throw Trumps case out. As it undermines their system and makes US out to be hypocrites when it comes to Elections. Which is not the case but for Trump. It will be difficult for Biden over the next 4 years if Republicans dominate the senate. Then again many rebuplicans no longer back Trump due to his disparaging comments on the electoral system. -
Was speaking to a Renault/Nissan Tech and he said he doesnt buy the posturing from Nissan. But we may see a hybrid/electric version of the Z in future during the facelift era. Although I mentioned the need to adapt the car adding OPF filters and all sorts which is counter productive to making money having to spend money on modified exhaust systems and Lights, just to sell 100 units in EU first year... In the meantime can always go German or pick up something else. While Nissan change the current line up to Hybrids. Because Nissan want the GTR to be sold worldwide its most likely going to be a non plug in Hybrid V6 with integrated assist motors and regeneration braking. I expect more screens and less switches. The GTR will have a lot more tech than the Z

All that flapping and fanning just made it worse. The insurance company wont cover that since its public knowledge how it caught fire with mods not declared probably Im no engineer. Some cars already pop a flame or two naturally. It makes great Instagram posts but the risk involved is too great Id never dream of driving a performance car without a fire extinguisher. V6 already runs very hot as it is Constant abusive revving like a 9 year old on helium and sugar doesn't help
-
And thats key to developing A.I that works. Its ability to learn. Without learning and development from Tesla its going to make many mistakes. Also roads without lanes and dirt roads would be interesting
-
I thought cars weren't supposed to shoot flames? Flame maps with no fire extinguisher.

Nissans project for the next 5 years for the Leaf race car.

Whats this about full self drive costing £6800 or $10,000 in US.

Deserves more subs. That Nismo clout. He had changed the LSD. The same guy drifted for 50 seconds up a spiralling parking lot ramp

if they can bin the 6 pot brakes then the Z makes sense. Unless theyre going big power the GTR brakes should be an option not standard.
-
not really. Cayman GT4 will still be 60k+ SVR 45 and up. I dont think values will drop that fast unless there is a huge slump in sales. GTR will be the highest depreciation im sure. a 17 plate then will probably start from £50,000
-
I really think interior wise 4 circular vents and a longer screen in between with AC dials at the bottom would have been slicker. But hey...
-
my brothers looks exactly the same but with black interior. At least you dont need to keep the engine running to watch Netflix! How much battery would it use for a 2 hour movie with heating on low to medium lol

https://jalopnik.com/the-nissan-z-proto-is-in-america-and-it-looks-amazing-1845518631 Has arrived in America on press tour. Possibly Journalist reviews. Unfortunately its just opinions. Not allowed to show engine bay probably. Just talk. Probably need to wait 6 7 months for final product. The only thing that matters
