  1. Configurator is now Live. https://www3.nissan.co.jp/vehicles/new/z/simulation.html#configure/BABZj/AQ4/version
  2. Either way Its a lot of money. Once fitted I cant tell the difference. Id be willing to let mine go for a good offer.
  3. Goodyears are not amazing I had them on my Nismo. Id only go for Michelin PS4S or equivalent on this car. Traction light on third is common on Z with lower quality tires. Bridgestones are trash. Id change them immediately. Supra is a smaller car, smaller cabin and you should probably wait for the manual option. If not the gearing on the auto is good. Quick shifts shorter ratios and a Turbo. Used examples 10k more expensive. Some common issues on specific model year Supras
  4. *Insert coins to continue this conversation* Servicing is £400 roughly at main dealer. Thats P3 Service. If you wish to go all out then youll pay more GTR service prices. At 46,000 miles I dont envisage having to change diff oil till later on. Transmission oil around 60k maybe along with spark plugs and brake fluid along with discs and uprated pads before then. Car prices will be going up as summers coming. In my area 440i and 4 series are common as hell. M4 F8x are very common along with M3. So are 2 series BMW up to M2. My car however no. The guy with the Nismo in my area is selling up. So seeing one wont be a thing. Ive also seen the new 4 series and a grey M4 2022. Ill see a Nismo once every 6 months and a 370 every couple of months. Thats if I dont venture into inner London where there are 1 or 2 Nismo mk1 and 2s around
  5. I think thats why they put it on the mk2. They wanted a more grown up stylish look.
  6. Id have to sleep on it as theres a claim its worth £1126 but not in demand?! lol. How much would you sell yours for though. Theres a few imitations around including carbon for £400-£600 👀
  7. lol why you getting rid...More people want the mk1 spoiler 👀
  8. The screw locations look to be in the same position at the side of the lights. Yeah would be better than drilling any holes in the boot. Thanks, ill see how it goes
  9. Thats what a DRL lights seller said they do in US. Could get a trunk lot of headache though. Surely I just need 2 screws and 3M and shave the other clips off or remove them. I might not bother with this. Im seeing not many people want the mk2 spoiler due to fitment issues
  10. Same, they are reliable compared to German. We know the common issues. Maybe ive been lucky. Never been stranded on the motorway ever since ive had Japanese. Worst case scenario you cant start due to steering lock (not happened to me) or other issue like Gallery Gasket (no experience either) preventative measures can be taken. There are cars out there with 100k miles that havent had any major issues. These are trivial compared with (insert random car part here) associated with other Germans. Saying that Ive spoken to US owners who have blown engines etc...Mistreating the car for youtube what do they expect MK1 - Rarer, 2000s look, some minor issues, no recaros MK2 - more modern look, recaros, updates, slightly more known.
  11. Only thing more expensive are the MK1 rims. I prefer the Mk2 Rays and Recaros which makes my preference towards the Mk2. Best looking car sub £40k in my opinion. Not to everyones taste as the lights make it look like a Nissan Juke facelift. According to my mechanic who has a garaged yellow 350Z Gran Turismo. Who would have thought sharing the same family name the 370 might bare some resemblance to another Nissan. 🤧
  12. Theyre like £500 now on Ebay... I better get the new one fast lol
  13. Anyone done this. I know it comes from a place where 15 holes were drilled in the boot. Is it possible to use current holes from GT and maybe some adhesive then get rid of the protruding clips that are on the ducktail. In US im seeing people just get a Nismo hatch or drill the boot and is a pain to line up. So ppl tend to avoid these and get a like for like ducktail instead... I can see where the two screws go the screws and some 3M tape adhesive should do.l right? They seem similar to where the GT spoiler screws would be
  14. Its the same car since 2009 with subtle mechanical fixes along the way, bodykits, seats and buttons...The 370 is a reliable car ive had 4 Zeds...Face lift GT was around 2015 with the nice grey wheels. Same with Mk2 Nismo. MPGs are not much better on german performance cars as when you watch all the youtubers they seem to be getting low 20s despite being in the sticks. Considering its a 3.7 NA its actually quite economical and should really be drinking more. But many members have reported 25- 36 mpgs on a cycle. The highest i saw 38 mpg. Im not sure any other NA with a high 3.5 and above displacement could return that. Ive had £25 last me 6 hours of fast driving in the lanes with stops obviously. 23 - 24 MPG with Enthusiastic driving is not bad. If its only 9 miles start stop driving miles it will probably drop
  15. Only what Sir Muggins is willing to pay for it. The R34 is £189,000 on Autotrader. Been on sale almost 9 months. I can admire it in Gran Turismo! If the clientele are millionaires. It makes sense to try your luck and convince them its special enough to part with 1.6 mill. Sell sell sell..
  16. That cheaper 17 road tax comes with other issues on the car you may need to spend that on anyway such as the clutch or leaking door seal (wet seatbelt) lol I had the Nismo at the time I was working 3- 4 miles away 5 days a week and going to gym 3 miles away. Still spending a good £40+ per week at the time. Oh I did use to go home at lunch times so thats like 20 of those trips per week. I couldn't resist especially in the summer with the sun out. 440i like their lower liter counterparts are common as hell but good cars. Ive driven the 420D my mate paid over £30k for new through work....Not bad felt like an oversized boat tbh but comfortable and fast. Nice cruiser as drove from Oxford to Portsmouth with ease. Whereas the Z could give you a neckache if you sit wrong
  17. The MPGs in the real world not much different. Also road tax is a funny reason not to buy a performance car. Yet youd spend more on petrol within 4 months on useless trips lol My old Director had the 440i at the time i had my original Nismo. Lets just say even the CEO had to look. 👀
  18. Basically 30MPG is possible if only driving motorway and keeping at 70mph. Depends on driving style. £630 road tax. Ill be driving it till it hits £1000
  19. What about Datsuns, Infiniti G,s and Q series lol...you know long lost cousins etc..
  20. Its all relative....I think mixed driving 22-24 mpg...I have the automatic which is 7 speed and sits at 2.3k at 70mph. I was getting up to 38mpg at 60mph in restricted motorway. The 370 is lighter than the BMW with a lot less tech and features. Less to go wrong. Regarding tax thats when the tax rules changed. April 2017 was also based on cost of car being less than £40,000 new which many dealers sold discounted from 2018- 2020. I got my 6 month old Nismo in 2017 14k of New List price. That was then now the 2020s with low miles are around £30-£35,000
  21. What about standard GT wheels 19"? Or you looking for something with thinner spokes ot lighter
  22. They had no choice. According to the insider expose posted over a year ago they were not willing to build a new platform for a tiny segment on the dawn of electrification. It was a low cost investment at a time when Nissan were in huge debt. One of the main reasons for going ahead was they wanted a halo car to bring attention back to Nissan. The compromise was to build a rebodied 370Z....Take it or leave it. Also the fact Nissan refused to change the grill from concept or tune the engine or gearbox means they decided a lower cost strategy. So people will have issues i cant see Nissan addressing anything that isnt urgent. As far as theyre concerned theyve done their bit.
  23. Was reading the chat on savagegeese documentary, biggest complaint is the pricing. Obviously was laughing my head off at the comments. If Toyota price their manual Supra at 48-50k USD then that will be a problem
  24. Mate 😂... Nissan could have made it lighter than the current car. Im seeing average 190 lbs heavier combined with real tires a lighter car would do better. Its a tough ask against a V8 and Zupra with a faster gearbox. So that being said £35,000 is the most this cars worth considering its not a new car underneath lol Lastly if you benchmarked against "Captain Supra" why are they still taking an L. Tires okay can run it back. The cars still heavier with a slower auto. Tough ask. If Nissan had retuned this engine for more torque and extra ponies it may be a different result. This engine is down on torque compared to the supra and mustang. Looks like an easy drop in with no refinements to engine or gearbox?! So actual improvements lay mainly in the manual with flat foot shifts and better ratios...
